Tokyo Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar

We had a larger party for my daughters birthday, on Friday, Devember 6. We had made reservations ahead because I know how busy they get and It was absolutely wonderful! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, especially the birthday girl! The food was delicious, service was friendly. We have always enjoyed going here but i was even more impressed after leaving Friday. Thank you!!

Amazing. Stopped by on a whim while in town for a Chiefs game. The tempura chicken was light, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sushi rolls we plated beautifully. 5/5 adding this restaurant to my must visits when coming back.

My go-to sushi place in KCMO! So fresh, service is incredible, and consistently delicious 😋 philly roll ✅ Hawaiian roll ✅ rainbow roll ✅ hibachi ✅ SO GOOD 10/10 every time!!!!

The chicken fried rice was really good. The crab salad wrap ball was good. I was expecting it to be a wrap though. The crab ragoon, I thought should be more crispy, however they were good. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely go back.

I can't say enough good things about this sushi place! The service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely amazing. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices, and the atmosphere made our dining experience even better. Our food arrived incredibly fast, which was a huge plus. We highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone! This is our new favorite place!

Vegetarian options: Can make any vegetarian roll that you ask! I had special custom ones made for my boyfriend and I. They did it happily and with ease!

My girlfriend & I were actually amazed at how wonderful this place was! Not only was the food delightful but the service was immaculate. They were very generous and more than kind. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

For 21$, there's less than 1/3rd of the steam hibachi combo box has meatand is mostly veggies. I feel like the value for the amount of meat/veggies ratio is off-putting.
The rainbow roll was good but seems like it's artifical crab.

Used to order occasionally through the years but the reduction of portions for value is sad.

Normally their food is good. But I got the spider roll today and something told me to look inside of it . Never seen shrimp look like this and they keep the shrimp skin on it as well . Cooked shrimp shouldn’t be grey. I’m pretty disgusted and won’t be coming back. Normally their food is good . Today made my stomach hurt .
