We recently celebrated my aunt’s 97th birthday in the private dining room and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our entire experience! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, the staff was beyond amazing-the most courteous & attentive staff I have encountered in ages, and the cleanliness of the restaurant & restrooms was also impressive. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is the second time we have ordered from this restaurant. The first time we ate in and everything was good. The philly steak sandwich was great and service was very good . This time we placed a order to go. My wife's grilled chicken salad was very good and I ordered a Crispy Chicken Club, was like biting into rubber. It was a thick chicken breast which needed to be butterflied prior to breading and cooking. The breading was overcooked due to the cook time needed for the thick breast, pictures attached. I called the restaurant yesterday to speak with John, the apparent owner or the manager, left my name and number and guess what no call back, not surprised. I would not have taken the time to submit this review had they really cared about their business and returned a call to resolve my concern. 9/05/25 Tried them for lunch, catfish sandwich with fries for $7.99 , great choice. Great food and service today.

Ordered takeout from here a few times and it’s a great place to stop and get a meal if you are in the area, definitely worth stopping in. The Rueben is up there with one of the best! The deep dish pizza is amazing! It’s even good the next morning cold! Small clean, charming town diner with big city taste! Entrees are priced fairly, great place to stop!

Love this place and go there regularly. Great salad bar and everything I have had there has been really good. I really like their pizza crust too. Bernie is lucky to have a nice place like this.

mom & i stopped in after a doctor appointment, the inside is so cute, the waitress was so sweet, she was helpful with suggestions also, we got our food in a good amount of time & it was so goooood!! there are so many options, also to chose from.

First time to eat at Main Street today! What a great experience! The server was friendly and helped answer questions. The food was excellent! I tried a coconut fried pie and it was amazing!!!!
We will definitely return. A big thanks to the owner for making some retired teachers feel special! What a treat!!

Absolutely the friendliest people imaginable. I’m from out of town and they treated me like a regular. I was there for lunch…had a salad from the salad bar and the chicken bacon ranch wrap…delicious!! I overheard others talking about how great their pizza’s & burgers are! I can’t wait to come back to Bernie to eat there again! Oh, I bought one of their T-shirts too!!
