The rib tips were mostly bones. The sauce is salty. It was very greasy and there was no grill taste or flavor. The potato salad is store bought and the baked beans were nothing more than plain pork n beans. I will not make another trip

Omg y'all, so I had a taste for BBQ and visited here. I've had his food before years ago before he got to the restaurant. It's still as good as I remember it, rip tips are soooo tender, chicken wings tender. Everything seasoned to PERFECTION. The homemade BBQ sauce got a nice, slightly sweet taste, not spicy at all, and I'm usually a no sauce person. My two sides were spaghetti and potato salad. Both were delicious, and the spaghetti was meatless, which was a plus. The combo I got was 21.00 and look at how much food I have. This will take me days to eat. The service was professional, im assuming the lady working the window taking orders is his mom. She was a sweet old lady, it didn't take long at all to get my food. Ad far as ambiance, it's more of a carryout place. They did have a couple of tables in there. I can't wait to go back.

I ordered a polish sausage and they used freezing cold bbq sauce and cold hot dog bun, making my sandwich cold.

Amazing y’all! Me and my hubby stopped here as we were vacationing thru STL. We wanted a “real bbq” joint nothing commercial so we googled and found this gem. The man at the window was friendly and he overstuffed our boxes for the wait( which wasn’t longer than ten minutes)! We got the tips w/ two sides (spaghetti and Momma’s potatoe salad) and the beef smoked sausage, and let me tell you everything was sooo delicious! It was very affordable too! We will be most definitely putting this place on our list of spots to come back too!

Food was tender , fresh and hot ! Customer service was GREAT! My husband loved the plate and so did I. As i’m writing thid review pants are unbuttoned and it times for a nap ???My pic doesnt really capture the love on this plate!! They FILLED UP MY PLATE tips with one side so imagine a bigger plate portion!! Thank you Subjay!

I was looking for Barbecue places & subjays was the only place open and I’m 8 months pregnant so I was determined to get me some Barbecue, when I got home and ate the food was so delicious everything was soo good me n my man ate off the rib tip plate n I still even had some left over to take to work the next day. I definitely will be coming back an he gave me great customer service.

The food is so Delicious!! You can taste all the love that was put into making it. If you are craving some loving, homemade; backyard BBQ, this is the place to go. "Mom" is so sweet and kind! I HIGHLY recommend eating here.My daughter: Omg! mom, this is better than my grandpa's BBQ. I want more!! lol
