“"From the moment I stepped into The Crossing in Clayton, I knew I was in for a remarkable dining experience. The exceptional service began with Sunny, who skillfully handled my reservation, and continued with David's warm welcome at the door. My server, Joshua, was simply outstanding, ensuring that my visit was nothing short of perfect. What truly set this experience apart was the meticulous attention to dietary restrictions for both me and my guests. It's rare to find a restaurant that genuinely cares and accommodates with such grace. The meal was unforgettable, leaving me talking about it for weeks. But the cherry on top was a chance encounter with Joseph on the sidewalk days later. His genuine follow-up about my experience showcased a level of care and knowledge that is unparalleled in the industry. The Crossing in Clayton is not just a restaurant; it's an experience where the staff goes above and beyond, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking culinary excellence and exceptional service."”

“This is my first time visiting this absolutely beautiful restaurant! I was pleasantly welcomed by the owner and shown to my table. The ambiance is beautiful & traditional Syrian/Mediterranean which immediately takes you away from where you are. The service was excellent. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious! I had the stuffed grape leaves, a light traditional soup, and the beef dish served with a light yogurt & vegetables. If you haven't tried this wonderful establishment, you must give it a try! Very unique and a well needed addition to this little cove of Creve Couer! I will definitely be returning often & bringing others!!”

“I got the carne asada and al pastor street tacos, as well as the elote preparado, and my partner got the hot cheetos burrito w carne asada. It was all incredible! I liked the carne asada the best, it was flavorful and the perfect texture. My partner loves spicy food and he said the Diablo sauce was very good. The owner also came to talk to us and she was very kind and friendly!”

“We were in attendance for Monthly Girlfriend luncheon. Only 1 of us 4 had visited Hendel's in the distant past and she chose the restaurant. You don't see a lot of truly warm and cozy restaurants nestled within the neighborhood that's prospered. The food was good and service was excellent and as we have visited restaurants month after months, it's obvious that cooks aren't same. There is space for indoor & outdoor eating with limited parking. Nice afternoon luncheon experience ?Parking: Free parking in rear where u have a short walk from vehicle into establishment, but if full being that it's sitting in residential area, one can park on side street, no meters, & without inconveniencing residents.Kid-friendliness: Kids were running around where we sat indoors but no one seemed disturbed by their antics ?”

“Every time I come the food is great. The price point is amazing for the food you get. Sushi rolls are always excellent and I order the same thing everytime but I always get a different hot food option whether it’s egg rolls, crab Rangoon, etc. and it’s always good! Hate the parking on Delmar and wish they had more locations but it’s worth it.”

“I cannot express to you how much I love this place. The shop is locally owned and operated by a family. They are the friendliest people. Their Ethiopian macchiato is my favorite drink. It is rich and authentic. I have tried their mango smoothies and just had a frozen coffee drink today. The quality of their espresso is best in class. Highly recommend trying if you appreciate "real" coffee. They offer punch cards if you want to be a frequent customer and receive a free beverage after so many visits. The shop is clean. Good ambiance if you have work or studying to do with free WiFi. Only positive to say about this venue.”

“I consider myself a donut connoisseur, and I've had donuts at several of the popular spots around town. The Sweet Spot's donuts are among the best in town. I'm a big apple fritter enthusiast, and I really enjoyed the style here. Tons of apple bits and great cinnamon flavor. The strawberry cheesecake donut was superb, as were the old fasioneds and the glazed chocolate cake donut. 10/10 I'll be back the next time I'm in north county.”

“It was good food. What they call Mole sauce is not mole. This place was hyped to me but really didn't deliver on the food side. I just thought it was ok. Service was good.”

“Really best for dine-in. Food is good. Northern china cuisine. As a non-Chinese, I appreciate that the menu has color photographs of most every item. Favorites are the spicy fish, twice cooked pork, glass noodles w pork, and sweet and sour pork (mostly just sweet). Okay were house noodles, noodles w fermented cabbage, braised knuckles. Least favorite was the dumpling soup -- mainly because I'm not a fan of cilantro. Place is small, but cute and clean. Service is prompt and friendly.”

“Corner 17 has THE BEST Chinese food around! The hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, baos, chicken skewers, wontons, wonton soup, and fried rice are all absolutely delicious..and you get very generous portions for a fair price! We have never eaten in (we always order to go), but the little interaction I've had with the staff when I've picked up my orders has always been positive! Also, I REALLY appreciate the updated to-go bags...they're way more durable (I don't have to worry about my hefty order potentially breaking through the bottom like with the standard brown paper bags) and the insulation inside helps keep our food nice and hot until we're ready to chow down! Thank you, Corner 17...keep up the AWESOME work!”

“This is a mom & pop type diner. Nice blues and oldies music playing. Self-serve coffee area. I ordered waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon & extra bacon. Everything was good, but my bacon was cooked a little too hard where it crumbled up.We also ordered hashbrowns, turkey sausage and cream of wheat. Great customer service, friendly people and clean.”

“Stopped in during Wing Week at lunch time. Could barely get in the door due to the crowd. I actually got a table within 5 minutes! My wings were good, but I need to return. I looked at many dishes as they went by, and also observed other tables' food. Everything looked delicious. They staff was amazing, and ran the place with great efficiency. They knew many customers, so they have many regulars.”

“Hidden gem of Alton, Illinois! Got an oat milk, mocha latte and blueberry streusel cake both of which I would rate 5 stars. Coffee was the perfect blend of sweet, creamy, and bitter; streusel cake was moist, great consistency and had big, beautiful blueberries that carried wonderful flavor! Great atmosphere plenty of places to take a rest. They have a very friendly and attentive staff. I'm not a big drinker but I think it's amazing they offer adult beverages to anyone who wants a bigger pick-me-up. We will be frequenting Maeva's to try all they have to offer!”

“Been several times…literally the ONLY dine in restaurant I go to in NOCO. Best drunken noodles I’ve had in St. Louis as long as they don’t overcook the noodles. (That’s only happened once.). Highly recommend.”

“I had lunch a Beyond Sweet and I would highly recommend you stop by for a delicious meal. The owner, Dallas, was attentive to the patrons, the ambiance was nice, the staff is diverse, and the food was delicious. This is a different vibe for STL so go out and support this restaurant.”
“Decent venue, bathrooms pretty clean, seating nice. Alcohol is served here. They have metal detectors in use so if you have anything that can be possibly be used as a weapon, leave it in your car or you will have to make a trip back to your car.”

“Food satisfaction is subjective. That said, I so appreciate the value and quality I get from King Grill. I am so glad they're in my town. I suggest you call ahead. My favorite and usual order is the rib eye sandwich. What a great value!”

“Omg y'all, so I had a taste for BBQ and visited here. I've had his food before years ago before he got to the restaurant. It's still as good as I remember it, rip tips are soooo tender, chicken wings tender. Everything seasoned to PERFECTION. The homemade BBQ sauce got a nice, slightly sweet taste, not spicy at all, and I'm usually a no sauce person. My two sides were spaghetti and potato salad. Both were delicious, and the spaghetti was meatless, which was a plus. The combo I got was 21.00 and look at how much food I have. This will take me days to eat. The service was professional, im assuming the lady working the window taking orders is his mom. She was a sweet old lady, it didn't take long at all to get my food. Ad far as ambiance, it's more of a carryout place. They did have a couple of tables in there. I can't wait to go back.”
