Had lunch at Las Casitas and it was delicious. The place is a little off the beaten path. Thank goodness there was a sign by the road pointed us in the right direction. We drove to the Jim Bakker gospel building. The restaurant is inside the building (with no signs outside). After we chose a table, a lovely young lady gave us chips and salsa. I had a grilled chicken burrito that came with a side of guacamole, sour cream, lettuce and pico. I was quite pleased with my choice. My husband had chicken tamales. He could not decide which sauce so asked for a little of the red and green sauces. They were very tasty. We are only in the area a short time or I would go back. The prices were $$.

This food reminds me of the Mexican food I've had in California. The rice and beans are to die for. They have several different sauces available for your enchiladas, so far I've had ranchero sauce and green sauce. They're both delicious but the green is made from Tomatillos. It is excellent. The house salsa is very good. It has a slight kick to it, but if you really want a kick, ask for spicy salsa. The restaurant is run by a very nice family. Two sisters and one of the sister's husbands is the cook. He keeps putting out new salsas all the time and they are delish. It takes a little bit to get your food because he makes everything fresh and takes pride in doing so.

We were not looking for this restaurant to be inside of a larger building so were confused at first. However once we got inside the building we easily found the restaurant. The owner who waited on us was friendly and gave us a description of a number of their unique dishes. We chose to share an amazing dish that was too big for one. 5 meats and 2 sides in this delicious meal! I want to return to try some more of their unique and authentic Mexican dishes! I highly recommend to anyone!!

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to and one of the best places to eat in Blue Eye in a long time. The cheese dip is very good and the grilled chicken was perfect. The owners are fantastic and very accommodating and helped make sure all of our needs were met in order to help work around a food allergy. The food here is amazing and the atmosphere is very nice and laid back. The service is extremely excellent! Will definitely come back here again!!!

Every meal I’ve eaten at Las Casitas has been 5 stars. I wish I had more photos of my food to show, but it disappears right when it hits the table! ? amazing food and a wonderful Christian family running it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food.
