THE Pizza Place (North Blue Springs)

This location is just as good as the one I tried last week! I love the variety of pizza options and how fresh everything tastes. If I were a famous guy named Dave and rated pizzas after just one bite, this would be a solid 10!

We ordered takeout on Friday from the North Blue Springs location. We wanted to support a locally owned business and read the other reviews that this pizza was the best. However, our experience was not great. We order the “ultimate pepperoni pizza” and based on the photos, it looked like it was loaded with pepperoni- what we received was not that. The pepperoni was sparse and the pizza was undercooked - just very doughy. We also order cheese sticks and wings, which were undercooked, and a dessert pizza. The dessert pizza was listed as having a streusel crumble topping and drizzled with cinnamon sugar and icing. Again, the is not what we received. We got a thin (almost cracker like) crust with cinnamon sprinkled on top. That’s it.
I think first impressions are everything and so we probably won’t return. But now we know…. Pictures below.

My daughter is celiac, it is so hard to find places as we’re traveling. Jim was very educated in celiac, and even told us about their gluten free buffet they do once a month. We will travel there just for that! Pizza was kid approved! 😊

Honestly the best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten. The crust was crispy and I got to eat ingredients I normally have to stay away from. We ordered 5 pies and I was able to pick them up within 30 minutes. The owners are very celiac conscious and off many GF items from other local establishments ! I highly recommend!

We moved north of the river, but we stop here whenever we are back in the area. The pizza is so good! I can not recommend this place enough. There are so many options, including gluten-free and low carb. The salad bar is terrific, too!

Its a pick up pizza location, very nice people.

Personally this is one of the best pizza places in the entire area, they have a pretty good menu and make considerably high quality pizzas compared to other places for a similar price, not only that but the dessert pizza I recently tried was great for the party my sister had, although if you are having a large party I'd recommend ordering a few of them just in case.

Overall a generally great experience.

There were a lot of vegan options and lots of non vegan options so my entire family could eat together!

They have an entire menu dedicated to vegan/gluten free options. Several cheers and fake meats as well as lots of veggies. I had a make your own pizza with all my favorite toppings and it was delicious. They also have a gender neutral bathroom.

First time trying this place. Ordered 8 pizzas for my son's bday. The pizza was amazing. Great customer service also, the guy was super nice. Will definitely try again
