My husband and I hadn't eaten here in a long time and decided to give it another chance and it was disappointing to say the least. The tacos were soggy, bland and flavorless. The locos burrito neither of us could even eat. It had a salty and soapy taste. The cheese sauce was watery and runny and the chips were stale and tasted like old oil. Overall, I would not return.
My husband and I are from out of town and wanted Mexican food for lunch, we looked up the Mexican restaurants in Bolivar and found El Rodeo. We both had a great experience. The chips and salsa are amazing compared to the Mexican restaurants in our area, the food was hot and delicious, we both stayed full for hours after, my husband had sweet tea and he said it tasted great and it was really fresh. We had a birthday party lunch and they gave us a large room to ourselves that could have accommodated half again our number. Our server was outstanding. The food was out fast, hot, and delicious. They did an incredible job. They never disappoint.
