We went to WJ’s for a 70th birthday party celebration in Booneville. From the moment y we walked in the door we felt like family! Brad came and welcomed us, and pulled up a chair to tell us about about his beloved grandfather, who his restaurant is named after. Hannah, our waitress, was so very attentive and helpful— and her helpful trainee waitress too! I had pasta Santorini, which was delicious, and others in our party said the salmon was the best she’d ever had and the chicken dish was delicious too! We brought our own birthday cake in and Brad along with the entire staff came out to sing Happy Birthday! We shared the cake with the staff, and we met the fabulous chef too! If you want sense of family and a warm friendly small town dinner don’t miss WJ’s!

W.J’s is EXTRAORDINARY!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! I was the birthday girl in a group of 5 women and they treated not just me but ALL of us like family who had come for a birthday party! Hannah was our main server; she was fabulous! Brad, the owner, deserves a million kudos for treating his own staff like family! He acknowledged each of them and made sure we met Tank, the chef. I had salmon and it’s possibly the best I ever ate! The sauce was incredible! And such a humble guy! The staff joined in on bday singing, and Brad pulled up a chair to tell us about the history of the restaurant. Sooooo personable! It was an amazing dining experience! I’d drive from KC just for their salmon and to say hi to everyone! We felt like we made good friends!

Comfortable and personable. We made a reservation for a small group of women and had a remarkable experience! The service was exceptional and the owner went out of his way to greet us, introduce his cook responsible for cooking our food, and we had multiple waitresses checking on us and joining in on our fun! The owner even pulled up a chair and joined us to share some of their history. They want to create an experience like coming into their home and they did so remarkably well! The food was delicious! We highly recommend checking them out!!

We made reservation 3 days ago and when we arrived tonight the door was locked with a sign saying they were closed. No call or anything! Avoid this place, they don't care about their business or their customers! We ended up at The Fred, what a wonderful meal and great service! They know how to run a business! 5 stars all around to The Fred!

This was our first experience there...the service was great, we were disappointed in some of our food. Really enjoyed the hot crab dip and Sourdough, my wife enjoyed her salad with the creamy dill dressing. I had potato soup with bacon, but couldn't taste any potato. We both had ribeye steaks and will order something else next time. We'll give it another try, we drove over from Columbia for our anniversary.
Wheelchair accessibility: We're older, and didn't see any handicapped accessibility.
Excellent service, menu, beer tap selection and entree. Unfortunately the salad was wilted so I can't give them 5 stars, though the horseradish dill dressing was great.
