Perfect! Had a special vday event planned and needed a nice restaurant to start off the night. First time ever eating or knowing about this place, found on Google Maps, no regrets!

We went here on Valentine’s Day hoping for a nice dinner, and it was a huge disappointment. The restaurant is literally a house converted into a dining space, and instead of feeling charming, it just felt weird and uncomfortable.
The food was even worse. Nothing had any seasoning at all. The salad looked and tasted like it came straight out of a bag from the grocery store. The crab dip had a strange, off flavor that made it hard to eat. Our steaks were not cooked as ordered, and somehow still managed to taste bland, with more fat than actual meat. No flavor, no care, nothing that justified the price.
The service didn’t help the situation either. We constantly had to flag staff down just to get basic things like more water, which shouldn’t be that hard.
Overall, it was an expensive, uncomfortable, and disappointing experience. Definitely not the romantic Valentine’s dinner we were hoping for, and not somewhere we’d ever go back to.

Great little place with great service! Our waiter was great. At the time my Grandpa was on a restrictive diet. She was super sweet and was trying to find something for him to eat even though he was on this diet. It was awesome to see such kind people.

Walked in for the 1st time here and had a party of 12, they had no problems accommodating to make it work for us, very nice staff, food was excellent and very well priced!!!! We will return again when we come back to the area!!!

This place was awesome. It looks like a single family home repurposed into a restaurant/bar. It was very quiet inside, immediate service, and the owner was present and spoke with us briefly. If you just want to go somewhere quiet and have a good meal and maybe a beer, you gotta try WJs.

First time going here. Food was great, service was great and Brad the owner offered whiskey selections which is always a bonus. Wasn't sure I was in the right place to begin with because it's a house but that adds to it's charm. Will definitely be back!

Rave reviews on TripAdvisor made us choose WJ’s as a dinner spot. The glowing reviews must have been written by family/friends of the owner and employees because WJ’s was absolutely not what we were expecting. Three of our group had burgers/sandwiches - a Honey Garlic Chicken, a Tank Burger, and a Spot’s BLT. All buns were badly charred and tough. The piece of Honey Garlic Chicken was good. The burger patty was as charred as the bun. The bacon on the BLT was overdone and difficult to eat so it wasn’t. I ordered the Mac/Cheese with grilled chicken. The chicken sprinkled on top was fine, but the penne was swimming in cheese sauce. Not what I’m accustomed to when ordering Mac and Cheese elsewhere. Big disappointment. When ordering meals, our server stated the sandwiches came with soup or salad and an additional side. French fries were added to the order, although the menu clearly stated fries came with a $1 up charge. When that was pointed out to the server, she still insisted the fries were included at no extra charge. After dinner when our bill came, there were two charges of $2.99 for fries. The server had no clue why the fries had been added at $2.99 each, rather than $1 as written on the menu. She also had no idea why we were charged for the fries at all after SHE TOLD US they were included with the meal order. She didn’t bother checking with any other employee/supervisor for clarification of the mysterious fry charges. The pair of $2.99 charges should have been removed from our bill but that seemed an incomprehensible option for our server and the charges remained. We were beyond annoyed with the entire WJ’s experience at that point, so the bill was just paid as it was so we could get out of there. NOT RECOMMENDED.
If you like burnt offerings this is the place for you!

This place was amazing, we had a short wait but the staff was so nice about everything and brought drinks while we waited. I got the pasta Alfredo and my boyfriend got the wade davis (steak and potato) each entree comes with soup or salad which is always a kicker. Usually I pass on Alfredo when I'm out because it's not very exciting but this Alfredo was incredible! It was peppery and garlicy, tons of flavor! Loved it!

The food was amazing, service was friendly, and environment was a comfortable home away from home. We enjoyed the Ahi Tuna and Nachos and both were fantastic!

Super fantastic food, I was pleasantly surprised. I got the steak and it was so good and the Gooey Butter Cake might have been the best thing I’ve ever tasted no lie. The staff is super friendly and attentive. HIGHLY recommend!
