“I HIGHLY recommend!!!! From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but as soon as you walk in it is as if you’ve been transported out of the country. The service is so friendly and inviting it felt like we were at a friend’s home. And the food is top notch! You can tell the chef’s are passionate and value great quality and excellence, because you can taste it through the food. We had a dinner box w/ bulgogi & a Bulgogi dinner (12oz meat). We couldn’t believe how delicious every single item was!And coupled with the atmosphere..it is so relaxing and peaceful we left their feeling like we had just went to a spa. Seriously. It was our first visit and there will be many more trips to Wakyoto Japanese Restaurant in the future!“
“The food was great! We got the noodles with chicken and shrimp hibachi and a roll of sushi. It was cold, so we sat at the food truck next to them because the sun was shining on those tables. The tables for Dre’s are in the shade which would be great for a hot day. The employee misunderstood our order as we wanted the noodles separate but it worked out and was more food than I expected for lunch time anyways.“
“We ate here on a Tuesday night during the off-season (January). There was only one other party dining. The service was excellent! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. We were celebrating my son's birthday, and they gave him a card with a Polaroid photo, which he loved. The food was okay. The portions were large but very salty. The vegetables were undercooked, and the fried rice was a little hard. The flavor was good, but not the best. I'd definitely eat here again, but it won't make my list of favorite hibachi restaurants.“
“Bethany is an amazing server. She always goes above and beyond and is always has the best attitude. The ONE complaint I have is that there is NO RANCH. You offer fried products like fried zucchini and do not offer ranch. Almost unacceptable. I go for the service and the food but you NEED to get on that ranch ASAP.“
“Our meal started with a delicious miso soup and simple salad with tasty ginger dressing. For my entree, I ordered the tofu teriyaki. The cubes of teriyaki were lightly fried and the perfect texture. The sweet teriyaki sauce on the side was the perfect consistency for dipping the tofu. The medley of vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly -- a delicious accompaniment to the tofu. The fried rice rounded out the plate well. Overall, it was a delicious plate. The service was fantastic and the intimate ambiance and simple decor made for a greeting dining experience. I would absolutely go back to explore more of the menu.“
“Delicious ? A small local restaurant with an abundance of flavor! Most everything is made from scratch in house. Be mindful and respectful of the longer wait times due to being a smaller business and popular. I recommend trying any item off the menu, you cannot make a wrong choice, the options are all fantastic.“
“A tiny little place with a huge character. Though this place may be small in size, the food and service pack a punch. The sushi is made when you order it, and don't forget to check out all you can eat for 30 dollars. Sushi, not your cup of tea? Well, they have more than just that. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Marvin. Very friendly man who not only cares about his business but his people. This is a great place, and if your ever in Branson hit this place up. We will return“
