The staff and management are horrifically homophobic, especially to not straight passing individuals. It's concerning how many hatecrimes happen behind closed doors. SILVER DOLLAR CITY IS HOMOPHOBIC!!!

At this moment I can not recommend this park/company. I bought a season pass today 5/6/25 for a trip in June. Their Diamond pass bring a friend tickets read very very poorly. I and every person I've talked to today read it as the tickets are valid during certain dates, but not other (black out dates). The passes are actually only valid from X to X. This is EXTREMELY misleading.

Went to Silver Dollar City this week, over our spring break. My husband had some good memories from visiting as a kid, so we decided to drive the 4 1/2 hours from home to take our daughter. I had never been and heard great things about the cave tour and Fire in the Hole. We were all so excited to visit. So many things went wrong that we will never be back. 1. We paid for 3 tickets at the kiosk at the park. Kiosk only printed 2 tickets. Had to spend our first 30 minutes waiting in line for customer service to give us the third ticket that we had already paid for. 2. Fire in the Hole shut down 4 separate times throughout the day, two of which we were in line for. 3. We went to get in line for the Marvel Cave tour around 1:30 pm and there was a chalk-drawn sign that said "delayed." There was nothing on the Silver Dollar City app that said this. We overheard an employee tell the person in front of us that some lights were out in a portion of the cave and they had to close tours until the electrician could fix them. There was no estimated time given for when it would be repaired. 4. We checked the cave tours again at 3:15 to see if we could get in for a tour. There were no updates on the app, so we had to go in person. We were told that not only was the 3:30 booked, but the 4:15 was fully booked as well, and the only tour they had after that was at 5:15, but we couldn't put our name on any list for it. We were told to leave and come back up to an hour beforehand and there were still no guarantees we would get to do the tour. 5. Mystic River Falls shut down several times throughout the day. The last time it shut down was around 3:00 pm. We wanted to ride it, but there was a huge line of people waiting for it to re-open and it never did (according to the app it was still "temporarily closed" when we left the park at 6:00 pm). 6. Before we got back in the horrendously long line for Fire in the Hole, we tried to use the nearest bathroom. There was an employee near the service door. When we approached the entrance, she yelled at us, "this bathroom is closed, it's flooded!" 7. The second time we were waiting in line for Fire in the Hole (when it was actually running), we had been waiting for an hour, we were 5 minutes from the loading area when the ride shut down for the 4th time that day. The app said, "temporarily delayed." 8. After hearing the shut down announcement, we continued to wait for Fire in the Hole with the hopes that it would re-open like it had earlier in the day. People around us said it would likely take anywhere from 10-20 minutes based on their experience. Not only did it not re-open, but an employee kicked everyone out of line saying that was their policy after a 30-minute shut-down wait. This policy was not posted anywhere, and was not shared during the first announcement of the ride being shut down. After I told the employee that we had already waited an hour and a half and were even willing to wait longer, until the ride was fixed, she said that we couldn't wait and they had to "clear the line" by making everyone leave. This was probably the most frustrating part of the entire day. 9. We had read good reviews of the Molly Mills buffet and were planning on eating there for dinner. We walked up to the door, which was unlocked, and looked inside to see all of the lights off and no one in sight. We tried to go to the buffet next door and it was closed as well. There were zero signs or notifications anywhere that both places would be closed. The Silver Dollar City app said Molly Mills was open. We were very confused by this. 10. This may seem small, but was a huge inconvenience. We struggled to find water fountains/filling stations. When we finally found 2 different ones, we tried both of them and neither one of them functioned. I'm not sure if they were broken or just not turned on, but zero water came out of them. We had to fill our water bottles in the bathroom, at sinks that had taps so low that half of our water spilled right back out o

Used to be good. Ever since they started the Trailblazer nonsense the ride lines are 60+ minutes no matter how few people are in the park, the rides are constantly broken and closed, and the souvenir cups aren't worth buying anymore.

We’ve eaten at most of the other restaurants at SDC. This is the second time we were disappointed with the food at Lady Liberty. The pretzel was stale and kids apples were sour. Most of the other food, chicken sandwiches, and fries had no flavor. I was hoping for something more.

A good spot to stop for a bite if your kids need a break or get hungry while visiting the Grand Exposition area (the small-kid-friendly area of the park). They have mostly chicken tenders and fries, plus a wide variety of fried snacks. Don't look for anything healthy on the menu here -- that's not the point!

Chicken was dry and hard. Hot dogs had odd taste. Packaged dressing was sitting in hot sun and had a very unpleasant taste.

Wow. We had the Tasting Passport for the Kids Fest. 2022 Most of these tastings are a smaller portion of what they normally serve. That is not a problem and expected. Some places seem to be a better value than others with the Passport. We ordered the Loaded BBQ & Ranch Fries with Cheese and Bacon using the Passport. Wow - were we surprised at the portion size.We thought it was yummy and would but it again. It is located near the Red Gold Theater. They also serve chicken tenders or a chicken sandwich (fried) with fries as well as the following snack items: Popcorn, Pretzel (Add Cheese), Nachos, Classic Dill Pickle, Cotton Candy, Mountain Size Cookie. The website says it is near 10 rides. I believe these are rides for young children. Nice area.

Great chicken fingers and fries and various theme park food. Very close to the Red Gold Pavilion and the exposition area. Lots of great meals on the menu and a place to sit outside. It will also have special menu items depending on the festival that is currently going on.
