Outdoor bartender service was horrendous! The bartenders working Saturday afternoon were quite terrible. It is possible that the bartenders at the swim up bar were better, at least I hope. Food was okay. The pool, music, and view were the only good things about this place while we visited. Safe to say that we won't be back and hope potential guests have a better experience.

Why is the service staff so rude here ? It’s like there is zero management accountability and they constantly get a stick up there rear end and don’t serve somebody in your party . Terrible attitudes

We had a bad experience during our week stay. They were doing construction early in the morning above us. The room we were in had disgusting carpet. On Monday we woke up to ants everywhere.. it was awful! They moved us to another room that had no air conditioning working so we moved again. Nothing like a whole day of vacation wasted. Then we tried to go to the restaurant for dinner one night at 6:30 and they just closed even though they are open till 9. Then my husband I went to the pool area at 7:00 one evening and we were talking to another couple and were asked to leave because they were closing because it was slow. I am sure it’s great for weekend visits to the swim up baror to listen to bands but to stay for a vacation I don’t recommend at all.

I traveled from Nebraska, and had an absolute blast at the tiki bar. Sawyer and his wife Tessa were attentive, helpful, and gave great customer service. Made our afternoon! Thank you Sawyer and Tessa for a good time!

Tenders were raw/pink. Took a while to get served after asking multiple times. If you or a friend only drink N/As, don’t come here there won’t be anything for you.

I wish I would have read other posts about the service and bartenders and just stayed away. One male bartender in particular was so rude for no reason. He was looking for a fight. We left and went back to our condo pool to relax and enjoy much cheaper drinks with the pool to ourselves. We won’t be back. I hope management does something about their bartender problem.

Our waitress Kristen was amazing!! It was a busy day but she was always there on top of it. She made our experience fun. I also heard she saved a puppy from drowning.
Kristen was our waitress and she was literally the best waitress I have ever had in my entire life. She is the gold standard, the crème de la crème, the diamond in the rough, the pièce de résistance. She belongs in a Michelin 3 star restaurant. She is a God amongst mere mortals. 10 out of 10 would recommend Rock Island Grill and Tiki Bar!
