This was for the Steak and Shake NOT near The Landing in Branson. This was the worst steak and shake I have been to. The other, near the landing, is so much better. First, you order at the counter. The person who took my order of a single bacon cheese burger and a malt made me a single cheeseburger and no malt. I finally got my malt and didn't realize until I took a bite out of the burger it was wrong. By this time I gave up. Food was good.
I recently visited Steak ’n Shake, and overall, it was a good experience. The food was tasty and lived up to expectations, and the prices were very fair for what you get. However, the new setup without servers takes some getting used to. It felt a bit odd, and I think adding more signs or instructions around the ordering process would really help customers navigate things more easily. If they can make the self-service system a bit clearer, it would be even better. But for good...
