“Food is very good and fairly priced. They have a decent amount of vegetarian options, which is great and fairly rare in Jefferson County. Staff is friendly and bathrooms were clean. My only issue is that it is very dark inside, like they're trying to save electricity or something.Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian section on the menu so options are easy to find. They are all good. If you really want a lot of food and veggies the vegetarian fajitas are the best choice.”
“The serivce, food, and order accuracy have been consistently good at this location since I moved back to town over a year ago. Same faces in the window for a long time, too. I usually come by on Friday evenings.”
“Very clean and pleasant employees. Dinning room is always closed , sometimes there can be a bit of a line.Vegetarian options: They are marked on the menuParking: Not many parking spaces. You may have to walk if the dinning room is ever open”
“The ice cream is delicious. The pistachio is my favorite - FRESH, soft pistachios, not the rock hard dried junk. You have to get it in a waffle cone. They are so crispy! And not too sweet but just right to match the ice cream.”
“This place is fantastic. The chicken dumplings are out of this world. We liked the beef better than the pork & didn’t try the shrimp. The chicken ones are just so good. The cucumber salad is okay. The sauce is a bit strong, but it’s still good. The broccoli IS served cold so beware! The spicy wontons were alrightttt but honestly the dumplings are so damn good you can’t beat it. MUCH better than soup dumplings STL in my opinion and WAYYY faster service. 10/10 experience. Love this place. Haven’t tried the boba or smoothies (yet!) but if they’re anything like the dumplings, I’m sure they’re great too. Definitely check this place out for soup dumplings.”
“We were excited to try the Tavern tonight for the first time. We were a bit underwhelmed. I only got 3 scallops for a $45 entree (even Disney will give you 4 for the same price). Additionally, the fries and baked cookie had a burnt aftertaste from the oven. For $150, we thought it was significantly overpriced for what we got.”
“Best BBQ I have had in a long while. Salt and Smoke and SugarFire has NOTHING on this place. Must try even if you have to go out of your way. Large portions and add a second side for only a $1.”
“This place is sooo good! Great tacos and food for on the go. The barbacoa taco with the advacado salsa is the main thing i always get, the next best one is the steak and fries and cheese burrito but sub in the barbacoa meat for the steak. Such a great food coma. Its also a mexican grocery store so alway good to grab some hot sause.”
“Update: A week later...Had the Chicken Katsu Curry...*chef's kiss*Tried this place for the first time the other day... SO SO GOOD. I got the basil rice lunch special. It came with chicken & veggies, miso broth and egg rolls. Loved it. 10/10 recommend.”
“Wonderful place for a little breakfast! The cinnamon roll really stole the show. Delicious drinks especially the chai latte. I got mine iced. Loved the art pieces available for purchase displayed on the wall, with information on the artist next to it. Will definitely been coming back!”
“Such a nice place with a really relaxing atmosphere, excellent attention; the orange muffin was really delicious, not sugar saturated, the smoothie that I try was really awesome and La Finca Mocha is just perfect. You can read, write or just hang out with friends.”
“Good quality sushi at a reasonable price. Sufficiently imaginative menu offers all the basics, and some good innovations like the baked sushi roll and the grilled squid. Consistently excellent service. Open late 7 days a week, another plus.”
“This place is one of the hidden gems of Valley Park. Why would anyone go to a fast food place when you can go here and get food both cheaper AND far superior to fast food? Duck Inn Market is the real deal. I’ve literally never had a single bad thing here. On top of it they might even be faster than fast food too. Darn near it at least. Thank you Duck Inn Market!”
“We come here on Tuesdays after my kid's tumbling class and we have a great time every time! I love their freeze dried candy, the rotating selection of ice cream, and the staff is so freaking nice every time - I believe it's the owner that usually takes care of us and he is amazing. 10/10 great place to bring the family.”
“Butter chicken was DELICIOUS, the meat was tender, the sauce was flavorful, and the rice was plentiful and had the perfect texture. Will absolutely be back again and again!”
“Had chicken enchilada soup + walleye fillet for lunchSoup, fish and fries were very good.Went at 1 PM CT and It was not crowded at that timeService was very good and we were promptly served.Overall a very good experience. Thank you.Parking: Plenty of parking spots during lunch time since Dance Academy is not open at that time.”
“Great food and great service! And we had a group of 12.Vegetarian options: Not sure, but there were two pickie vegetarians in our group, and they booth were satisfied.”
“Deeelicious. Probably the best ice cream cone i've had. Dipped in vanilla and covered in sprinkles. I got the Jolted Cow and Cookies and Cream. Inside looked great, lots of places to sit. :)”
“An absolutely wonderful place to go very laid back very nice cool people. The bartenders are wonderful you've got Jammie, Ami and Nikki . They are all wonderful and amazing very nice and the service is great I recommend you try it out especially if you love riding motorcycles. Have a wonderful time :)”
“Awesome place to dine. Samuel is always our waiter and he is great. Remembers you from previous visits. Always checking to see if anything is needed. This place in all is the BEST.”
“I was here for less than five minutes and can't wait to go back. Wait staff was lovely. Got a coffee to go and a cherry turnover both to die for. Coffee was a chocolate raspberry that didn't totally wipe out that fresh coffee taste. Turnover is flakey and complimented my coffee nicely. Sit down food looked amazing can't wait to bring friends here.”
“We all decided on pasta. Holy cow the portions are massive. I was pretty hangry and still took home over half. Complimentary bread was very good-appreciated the butter wasn't hard and easy to spread. Owner came by our table to check on us. Server and staff were all great. Server went over all the specials and gave us space as we took forever to decide. All of the dishes were amazing. Spag carbona was so delicious. I recommend adding the shrimp if you like shrimp-it soaked up the sauce nicely. Do not let the parking lot fool you. May be a bit dated inside but very clean and professional atmosphere . Prices seem comparable although portions more than make up for if you feel they are high. We felt prices were appropriate. Highly recommend reservations-we walked in and were able to be seated but we were there at 330. Highly recommend-we will return”
“Love this place! It’s right around the corner from our house, they’re speedy while having top notch customer service. Super accommodating and always so pleasant! Highly recommend their chai!”
“Great frozen custard! Many many choices. Long line doesn't mean long wait. Priced ok too. Try the caramel concrete or the hot fudge sundae ( w whip cream) Only ding would be numbering system for complete orders is kind of chaotic and skips around. Confusing because you'll think you missed your order of they skipped it. Or your number is eons away from the numbers being called and you'll think you need to be there a long time. I'm thinking different order books are being used w different numbers where it got left off. I've seen arguments over this!”
“This is my absolute favorite breakfast spot, I've tried almost everything on the menu and it's always insanely delicious. Their salsa fresca is especially good, as well as their sausage gravy. They are super busy on weekends, so get there by 8am if you want to be seated immediately.Kid-friendliness: We went around 8:15am and brought our toddler, there were at least 5 other families with very young kids.”
“An establishment that is licensed to sell alcohol to be consumed on the premises; pub short for publik house. The term first appears late in the 17th century to differentiate inns, taverns, and alehouse that served alcohol from private houses that did not.”
“Very sad I had to pay $4.12 for an iced tea. I’ve never seen such a high price anywhere in St Louis for iced tea . Tea is cheap. I can buy a box of tea bags for less than what I paid. Please reconsider lowering your price. Customers, such as myself, hate to be taken advantage of. I’ll gladly pay your prices for the delicious food I’ve eaten at Chop House.I very much enjoy your food, service and atmosphere. For that I give 5-Stars.”
“This restaurant is such a delight to visit every time we go which is at least twice a week lately. It's cheap quick and good food with helpful kind staff. We love trying all the different flavors and the flavor of the day makes it easier to choose which new flavor to try instead of figuring it out otherwise.”
“Get the seafood curry with crunchy noodles! Best I've EVER had!! These ladies know what they're doing. Fresh ingredients and they do not skimp on the seafood!! I LOVE SWEETIE CUP!”
“Great cozy place with great service and food. Love the pork and chicken. The half slab of ribs is huge. The prices are very reasonable. The homemade chips are the best around town.. and they have a great chocolate silk pie! ?”
