Top Notch Bakery. I literally tried everything on the menu minus the coffee and everything was unique and packed full of flavor. The head baker even took the time to collaborate with me on my favorite bakery item a “Cherry Chocolate chip Muffin”. She was able to put her creative spin on my favorite and nailed a perfect creation of this treat. Their petite quiche and breakfast sandwich are both spectacular. Honestly everything I had was amazing so much so I visit here even in the winter and I am a customer for life. Overall this is a top 3 bakery I’ve visited in the United States, I highly recommend trying the cherry chocolate muffin ;)

I try to stop by here every time I'm traveling through. Always a great experience! The coffee is superb. The pastries delicious and the bread amazing. Beyond that the service is always excellent and the people very friendly. The owners were there today..we stopped in just before closing..and enjoyed a quick visit with them. Such a pleasant part of our trip that we look forward to anytime we head south. :)

So glad I found Brewed Awakenings after a quick search for a cinnamon roll. Stopped by after a hike at Haha Tonka. Pastry selection, both sweet and savory, was awesome! Enjoyed an iced americano, latte, and a few baked goods. Ambiance is lovely. The right mixture of coziness and minimalism.
Will definitely be back! Cinnamon roll was out of this world.

Very clean and proffesional business, wonderful friendly courteous staff. Latte was delicious and since it was our anniversary we even got a very delicious chocolate chip cookie. They have a lot of different breads cookies and muffins all made fesh and look amazing. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Everyone is always so nice and kind there. The food is excellent with flaky pastry and well balanced flavors. The coffee is consistently amazing and their iced coffees have the flavors come through without being too sweet and there is a good amount of espresso so that you know you are actually drinking a latte and not iced milk with syrup. Their barbecue sauce is also a staple in our home. It’s KC style and delicious. My family has been going to the lake for decades and BA is hands down my favorite place for coffee at the lake and one of my favorite coffee shops anywhere. I think about it all year until we are at the lake again.
