Thank you Demitris at Camdenton, MO location. You rock, you are the best. Customer service on his part was more than I could have asked for. This young man deserves a promotion
Amazing Friendly service
I'm sitting here. 30 minutes after placing an order for a burger and fries. I've worked fast food for 3 years. Yall need to train your people better. This is just pitiful. I've seen a kitchen full of crack heads and homeless people be 10x more efficient. I haven't eaten at a dq in a couple years and I'm definitely not going back after this terrible experience. Plenty of staff just standing around. Every table full of people waiting for food and no one has any. Probably bad management. Either way get your people trained this is just sad.
Went in last night 5/14 and the teenagers working were more worried about talking to each other and their friends that came in. It took ten minutes for the guy to get an order for 5 ice creams, three of which were cones. The manager was there the entire time and didn’t seem to care that they weren’t helping customers and instead being more concerned with their social lives. Poor management and poor customer service.
Workers more interested in talking to their friends than taking our order. Kept getting distracted mid order. Couldn’t count simple change. Shift leader appeared to be aloof. Very poor management.
Unorganized, equipment out of order, bathrooms not stocked or cleaned. Several customers in the restaurant asked if they could adjust the artic ac to no avail. Food was not fresh
Great Orange Shakes
We ordered 3 blizzards. It was a normal DQ visit. I do appreciate them for serving us 10 minutes before they closed. Clean and efficient.
I rarely post a review, but something has definitely changed in the past few months at this location. We used to go there once a week. The food is always great! We love it. However, the past 3 visits have been very disappointing.
The first visit had several new teenagers there working. That's great for them! However, there did not seem to be an adult anywhere around. Maybe they were in the back? Anyways, one of the new workers stayed behind the counter and seemed to be working hard the whole time. The others were running around the place on their phones, calling family and friends and more. One of the workers had a bunch of her family there (maybe celebrating her new job! 🥳), but was talking so loudly that everyone in the restaurant now knows all the medical testing she just had done recently at Mercy. It just seemed a bit like a highschool cafeteria.
The second visit was brief. I was just going in to use the restroom and get a drink. I walked in the door, and 3 employees were huddled together looking at a phone. They looked up and just kind of stared as I walked in. No hello or welcome, and no moving out of the way for customers to get through with ease. I used the restroom and left, because I was frustrated again that it seemed like a cafeteria and hangout instead of a place of employment. Whether it's a starting out job or a lifelong career, there needs to be a sense of professionalism and pride.
The final, and probably last visit for quite a while, was tonight. I just wanted to go through the drive through. This way I wouldn't be overly harsh and nothing could go wrong...but it was 8:30 PM and I sat in the drive through for 10 minutes behind 2 other vehicles. One eventually moved, but no one took the next person's order. While that was happening, I watched a young woman try to go inside and the doors were locked. I understand this if it's closing for the night, but the hours online show it's open until 10:00. If that's the case, why can people not go inside, and why was no one taking orders in the drive through? There were cars wrapped around the building. I eventually got out of the line of waiting people and left.
I don't mean to be negative, but there seems to be some issues right now. I hope it gets sorted out soon, because I really enjoyed having an affordable weekly treat there and would definitely start going back if it improves!
Sat in the drive thru for a good while with one person ahead of us still waiting on their food. By the time we got to the window our food was sitting there ready. It was good and the $7 meal deal was just right for my little ones.

Almost every time we order our ice cream atleast 1 of ours is wrong. Of course we don't notice until we get home with it. Actually called tonight and no answer.
Gotta love those cheese curds with ranch.
The food was nice and fresh and took no time at all. Counter help was nice and friendly and apologized for our SHORT wait. The lady that delivered our food was friendly and also made sure we didn't need anything before she stepped away. The 1 star is solely dedicated to the blond lady running the drive thru window who was snapping at the kitchen people and childishly yelling loud enough that it more than made me wanna remind her that the people she was treating like scum, were human ALSO!!! My husband is the only reason I didn't address her and video her so the world could see. Ive been in this industry for 20+years and wow! If this is what you employee, I can only hope for their sakes that she IS NOT MANAGING cuz wow! She is not an acceptable customer service representative for your company!
