We invited two of our friends to boat over to the new Pier 31 Marina location and were thrilled with the experience. It was easy to dock our boat in the nearby slips. We were greeted with an extensive and enthusiastic staff, including Lily. The menu is the same as we’ve seen at the Greenview location so we all ordered house margaritas, which are always fantastic. Two of us ordered the ground beef taco salad and thought it was delicious. Another ordered the burrito house specialty and thought it was fantastic. My husband ordered the chimichanga and thought it was wonderful. The food, service, atmosphere, location, etc. was fantastic. We felt it was the same excellent service that we’ve experienced at their location in Greenview. We highly recommend El Centenario at Pier 31 when you get that craving for quality Mexican food or margaritas. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The waiter was FANTASTIC! He made sure our drinks were never empty and the service was quick and efficient. The food was AMAZING! This was the best Americanized Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to!
Vegetarian options: There was a deal where you pick three vegetarian options (six available) and the price was about $12! This was one of the best vegetarian deals I’ve seen in my 12 years of being a vegetarian. The vegetarian food was SPECTACULAR!
Dietary restrictions: I have dietary restrictions and the waiter made sure I was taken care of.
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant staff is very professional and maintain a family (and kid) friendly environment.

Had a great time! Food was good. Humiliating my dad for his birthday was awesome! Only issue we had was waiting on our food. It took a while with my small niece getting her food last. Otherwise, great place!

For starters our waitress was eating and drinking a margarita while she served us. She was at a table in the restaurant just like a customer. She continued to do so the entire time.
She made the comment, “everyone would be happier if they drank at work” and another male employee said, “that’s what white people would say”.
Food was WAY over priced for what we received.

Waynesville location has horrible service. Food is subpar. If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican meal, this is definitely not the place. Manager and other employees didn’t acknowledge me when I walked over to the bar area to ask for our ticket. Restaurant wasn’t even that busy. Disappointed that we get another Mexican restaurant and it’s worse than the other ones we have.
Every few months my husband and I will wander into this establishment with bellies ready to order first pops out at us. Never too loud, and food is prepared and served in timely manner. Appetizers are filling and plentiful. Never unsatisfying. They aren't stingy on the liquor in their infamous margaritas either! Be careful! Overall fantastic place to sit and enjoy your meal.

Had a house marg, queso (Because it's my kryptonite), and the three steak tacos (named something special which i do not recall) on flour tortillas. Wow! The steak tacos were really good but that special hot sauce they came with stole the show! Service was amazing and fast. We will definitely be back and I will probably order the same thing again and again!
