Loved Scuttlebutt before the owner change, but love it even more now, I really like the fact that smoking is no longer allowed inside and that they serve a full menu all night. It can be hard to find places besides fast food that serve dinner after 7 in Camdenton.The fried chicken is absolutely excellent, had a 2 piece and was served 2 huge pieces of chicken that were perfectly cooked for a very fair price. I do not generally like cole slaw, but I love theirs, it's so good. Potato wedges are perfectly seasoned and cooked. Excellent, fast and friendly service as well. We will be back!

A hidden gem. The lake of the ozarks is lacking in note worthy food. But scuttlebutts was worth the review! The food and staff were great and we will be back! Definitely recommend

I really enjoyed my meal at scuttlebutt! My partner and I were exploring from out of town and we felt so comfortable and welcomed.
We ordered these yummy steak fries as well as chicken tenders and onion rings. They also gave me a free pork tenderloin piece as they didn’t have any big ones left for sandwiches and they wanted me to try it. It was well seasoned and delicious. All good bar food / munchies and nicely paired with a beer.
It’s definitely a local spot but they welcome everyone and it definitely satisfied my appetite for bar food.
