Great food!! Great service!!!!

Just finished our meal at The Tavern Smokehouse and we will definitely be back. Best dinner we have had in a long time, if you go make sure you get the French fries, they were delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The best BBQ at the lake! I drive 30 minutes well worth it! It is pricey but worth every penny!!!!

We were very disappointed with the quality of food at this establishment, it was extremely pricey and the meat was abysmal. Half of our sandwiches were fatty gristle and the mac and cheese was starchy and the noodles tasted a few days old. It was not worth the 40 dollars I spent and we will not be returning.

Great food, great service. Once there are a lot of people inside, it is very difficult to have a conservation without feeling like you have to talk very loudly, they do have outdoor seating so you can get away from the noise

Have not been to this place since the new name. Ordered 2 Hillbilly bowls to go with no onions. Got in the car and back on 54hwy both had onions and way to much salt. Overall taste was not my kind of bbq very lacking.

We saw where the Tavern Smokehouse had a game day special, so we decided to try it! It has been a long time since we went there. Imagine my pleasant surprise to see my favorite chef, Chef Steven Owens, preparing his delicious meals there! He and Mark Haun warmly welcomed us and described the exciting updated menu to us! We felt like we hit the TRIFECTO! It was hard to decide what to order, so we decided to order a lot so we could sample more dishes and have leftovers! That was a very wise choice! We ordered burnt ends, pulled pork, fried chicken and fried catfish. Our sides were bbq beans, coleslaw, and cheesy corn. The burnt ends were, burnt to perfection, moist, meaty and had that great smokey flavor! The fried chicken breast was huge. It was juicy and tender on the inside with just the right amount of crunch on the outside. It reminded me of my Grandma's fried chicken! The pulled pork was tender, juicy, and had that great smokey flavor. The catfish was lightly golden on the outside and moist and succulent on the inside. The homemade tartar sauce was a great accompaniment. The bbq beans were the best I have ever had! They were thick, smokey, sweet and chocked full of bbq meat! The cheesy corn was cheesy, thick and a tad smokey! The coleslaw was thick, creamy and a touch sweet! Our serving sizes were huge! We had lots of leftovers for another meal and a few late night snacks! Mark checked on us frequently and took great care of us! We were glad that we stopped by and of course will be back often! Chef Steven Owens has upped the Smokehouse's game immensely. The new menu along with beer, both bottled and tap are a game changer and welcome additions! This is not the same Tavern Smokehouse it is the bigger and better version! There are discounts for military, seniors, people in uniform and children.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but from the moment we stepped into the front door I could tell this place was different that most bbq places I’ve been. The front counter lady was nice and we ordered our food and sat at a booth. When our food came out I was blown away. The pickles on the plate were homemade, the cornbread was huge and the honey butter was amazing. The burnt ends were so tender and the potato salad was like something from a family picnic. I would definitely recommend this place. You definitely need to try all of the bbq sauces!

Outstanding meats!! Variety of sauces! Hand-cut fries! Excellent baked beans! Homemade bread & butter pickles! Interesting menu choices! Great staff and service! With all the restaurants in the Ozarks to pick from I‘m so glad we ate here!!

Its not Texas bbq, but its pretty decent.

We had a large group of 26, with lots of kids, and were accommodated only with smiles and grace. The food was top notch, especially the sides. Everything had an awesome barbeque flare, from the salad to the mac and cheese. We’ll definitely make a point to stop in next time we’re moving through Camdenton!
