As a bar this place is ok if you’re mainly looking to get drunk at the lake and people watch. The food is mediocre at best. Definitely don’t expect the food to be cooked right as I e tried them 2 and was disappointed each time. It’s definitely a good place for people watching or spending way too much on basic drinks. The staff have always been nice but service speed and attentiveness is sub par. Overall if you’re looking for good food look elsewhere.

Hands down one of the most unique places we visited while in town. We came in early October so towards the end of season and we came for lunch and did have to wait about 20 minutes. I think it was a poker run because there several high dollar boats parked in the slips and 2 helicopters in the parking lot. I felt like the wait staff was attentive for how busy it was and drinks were good. My burger was just okay. I wouldn’t order it again. I can see this place getting a bit rowdy in peak season so I’m not sure if we’d bring our kids, but maybe we can do another October trip with them instead of summer

If you’re young I’m sure this is the spot.
On the lake. Swim up bar. Tables in the pool. Energetic music. My husband thought he was 20 again. I had to get him home before he gave himself a heart attack. 🤪

We went right before closing and they were so gracious and kind. You do not find that often right before closing time and our hungry softball players were VERY thankful!
This was our first time here and it will now be one of our go to places to eat at the lake. It was late at night and in September so we didn’t get to try out the pools, but they were still fun to see. We will be trying those out next summer for sure!
The girls had fun playing in the cave. It was much bigger than I was expecting.

I would say after 16 years of living at the lake and being everywhere and eating everywhere it was the absolute worst food imaginable it was actually inedible

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Cave is one of the most unique spots at Lake of the Ozarks! The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else—dining and hanging out inside an actual cave is such a cool experience. The staff is friendly, the drinks are great, and the food always hits the spot. It’s a perfect place to take friends or family when you want something memorable, and the lakefront setting makes it even better. Definitely a must-visit at the lake!

Atmosphere was the best thing about this place. Food was not worth the price. Kids servings were extremely small, my sandwich was soggy. 130 seems a little high for a mediocre meal.
