The Trophy Room At Old Kinderhook

The Trophy Room is my favored place at Lake of the Ozarks. The ambiance is 2nd to none and the food is always done to perfection! Love the place!

Loved the dining experience! We were able to eat outdoors with lower humidity after the rain of the day.

Really enjoyed the visit. The restaurant was clean and orderly, the food was good and served quickly. Great service and drinks were well made. I will return.

Sara was such an amazing waitress... she is very personable and extremely conscientious. While the food is amazing, the service from Sara will be the reason we remember this evening

Great food with beautiful views. I will say for an upscale place that serves old fashion (cocktails) I was disappointed to see regular small cubed ice in the drink. A ball ice cube is best in an old fashioned so the drink doesn't get watered down as fast.

We had a lovely experience at Kinderhook's Trophy Room on Friday evening, 5/16/25. There was a terrible multi-vehicle crash blocking U.S. 54 near the Niangua Bridge at Lake of the Ozarks in Camden County. The injury crash blocked U.S. 54 around Sunny Slope Drive. It caused a major delay causing many people who had dinner reservations to be much later than planned; however, the staff could not have been nicer to accomodate everyone. Our server was awesome as was our delicious dinner, drinks and desserts. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather before going to the Nate Bargaze concert at Ozark Amphitheater (great, great show!!). Thank you Kinderhook and we will definitely be repeat customers :-)

This was our second time dining at The Trophy Room for our business conference dinner. Our experience was, once again, nothing less than excellent! We had 13 in our party and everyone was taken care of as if there were just a few of us. The ladies that served our group treated us like they knew us and even made our birthday guest feel like he was the most important person there. All of the food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming and the outdoor firepit was a nice break in between apps and dinner! This might be our new tradition while at our conference.

It took over 45 minutes after we ordered to get our food. There was just two of us and we were there for almost 2 hours. Very slow and food was average for the price. Very noisy as well.

We are new to the area, found the restaurant via iPhone restaurant search near where we are staying. The ambiance of the building and the view of the restaurant were very relaxing. The service was spot on, not too pushy, not having to hunt for our waitress. We split the special of the day Prime Rib, with the crab cake appetizer. More than enough for both of us. We will be coming back to the area and the restaurant again.

The prime rib special was perfectly cooked with excellent flavor. Loved the truffle fries appetizer. Will definitely go back.

We attended the trophy room on Valentine's Day to celebrate a birthday as well as Valentines. I made the reservation four weeks prior to the day however, when we got there, we were seated in the bar and not in the main dining room. This is a very disappointing evening for our party.

The food was wonderful. The wait staff all answered my questions (I had many!), and they did so with immediate knowledge. We walked away stuffed and enjoyed the junior hockey team outside playing a game.

Had a nice dinner with my husband. He had the cheeseburger and I had the pork chop. Both were tastey and seasoned well. Unfortunately both were also quite overcooked compared to how we ordered and it made them a bit dry. I would expect a place like this to know how to cook meat to the right temperature. I should add it was not very busy.
We split a brownie dessert and that was sumptuous!

The atmosphere is nice but the finishes are rather dated. Very 90's. I will say the bathroom is very clean and nice.

I will go again, but have lower expectations for the food and ambience.

The star was Sara, our server. She was friendly, knowledgable, attentive - timing our salad/soup, anticipating our drinks, and getting things quickly. She's a delight!

Food was good. The staff are exceptionally attentive and friendly. Disappointed they do not offer calamari anymore though.
