Very good food and service. I had the country fried steak and my wife had the fried chicken. Both were very good and large servings. Everything that we have ever had there is always fresh and hot. It is hard to find a place that has a hand breaded chicken fried steak instead of frozen. I highly recommend it. Our waitress Aleah was great and stayed on top of everything. We will definetly request her service when we return.

We went to the old original Flat Creek at Cape Fair by Tablerock lake about an hour outside of Springfield. It was great and after dinner we went a couple miles to Reeds Springs and looked at the quaint little town and looked down in inside the Rock Springs right in town. It was awesome There was an old metal cannery still standing. We went down there with a couple of friends and the husband grew up there and hes 67 years old and he said his mother used to work in that old cannery as a young women before he was ever born. It was all just a wonderful trip back in history. If you havent bern there to Reeds Springs you need to go sometime. Its beautiful country side and a great peaceful ride and lots of old history, and dont forget to eat at the original flat creek.

Cheryl was great! Enjoyed our stop here at Flat Creek. (that homemade slaw is awesome).
With so many of our friends talking up the other locations, we knew we needed to catch the og on our way home from Silver Dollar City. The special was what I would have ordered anyway, and I'm convinced there are some real Cajuns in charge of that seafood boil! The catfish was everything we were told it was, and both of the choices made will make it hard to try all of the other delicious sounding options on the menu! We will likely still try the Webb City location, but we will *definitely* be back to this one.

We are regulars at Flat creek, but on a to-go order 2x now have been disappointed. I called in the order, had to SPELL out the chicken pieces we wanted on the fish and chicken basket, which by the way is AMAZING!! Any ways- the young girl taking the order was not understanding I wanted 2 thighs, I had to spell it out for her. When my husband went and picked up the order, 1 TINY leg and 1 thigh. So still not sure what the girl actually wrote down. The fish was a very small piece. Mashed potatoes and green beans are a favorite, so of course those were ordered and looked amazing. Crystal saw my husband up at the check out and could tell something was wrong. Crystal jumped in to the rescue and made the order right. When you dine in you are sure to get the best pieces and your plate looks amazing, why when you get an order called in, it looks like bottom of the barrel pieces of meat? It has happened 2x for call in orders for us, so I know this is not new. Please kitchen staff, front counter order taker, do better. Thank you!! Way to go Crystal!! We will catch up with you next time we are in there ☺️
