Applebee's Grill + Bar

I went to cape Girardeau Mo location. They were really short staff. Took along time to get in and get our food . Me and husband ordered medium well steak it was a little over cooked. They said food took awhile cause was still frozen before cooked it. Mostly it was out of there control. Hopefully they can get more help. I gave them 3-4 stars cause they tried there best !!!!!

Had boneless wings and cheese sticks for appetizers and they were good. Had the Bourbon Street steak with green beans for main coarse. Green beans were good. Steak was way over done. Not once did the waitress ask how the food was. This was the first time I had been at the Cape Girardeau location in 8 years because the previous 3 times were all bad experiences. Have eaten at one in Wentzville several times and always good. Will never go back to the one in Cape Girardeau. Do not recommend going to the one in Cape Girardeau

Soooo went here on Christmas eve for some food with the family and we got our drinks. Them UFC fight night apparently was happening between the employees, they got into a fight and then argued with people wanting to leave and not feeling safe in the environment. We were there for like 20-30 minutes. Never got a chance to order food. People never got their food. Cops arrived after we left cash on the table for our drinks we never got straws for. I don’t know all the details but this has to be the worst experience I’ve ever been a part of. A couple wanted to leave too because they had only had drinks and an appetizer. They were there longer than us. I get its people working on holidays but this is unacceptable. Our waiter was nice to us and apologized to the couple (before they left, his mood kinda switched when they did). Thats honestly the only “decent” thing that happened tonight.

There was a towel laying on the ground with the host just standing by it, playing on her phone, and that set the vibe for our time here. As a worker in service I was very disappointed with this Apple Bee’s. I understand Tuesday night’s aren’t busy, so it’s easy to get relaxed, but this was on another level. We waited for 15 minutes and the server did not come by to ask what we wanted to drink, so we left. Mind you we could tell there were multiple servers there, some doing literally nothing, and there were only about 4-5 other tables occupied in the restaurant. Don’t recommend if you want to go out to eat.

Is this place shutting down? Our server was excellent but the food was terrible and the restaurant was really dirty. Our table was sticky and my daughter and grandkids had to go to another business to use the restroom after we left.

Hello! Folks I went out to eat the other night my sister and I and decided to go to Applebee's. Well it was real late and I was kinda hungry!. I ordered the Wonton 🌮 tacos and they were fresh crispy and good to my gut!! My server was LaLa she was nice and Professional with a nice attitude! I know it was real late but I appreciate LaLa keeping it Professional with her job no matter what time it was!!! Keep up the 👍 good work LaLa!!!

First off let's say service was excellent by all 3 that helped us plus the food omg the cooks they had last night was fabulous when you ask for a steak a certain way and they nail it flavor outa this world we have 5 different plate orders plus appetizers and drinks and everything was great drinks was spot on and thought about more but we decided to stay with just one and rave about the food as they did great we will be back and yes we did and always do tip well for great service and food ill try to add the 2 pics I did manage to get i was to happy with appetizers to think about the great steak and shrimp I had ohhh im ready for another one already if that tells ya how good mine was im very picky about my steaks and this right here was a great pick.

I ordered on the phone. When the automated person repeated my order she repeated it back to me it was right when I went and picked up the food and got home found that they replaced my order with nachos and cheese instead of the Chipotle lime chicken nachos that I ordered and when I called to tell them that I needed to get it fixed the lady said we'll bring it back and we'll see what we can do she was kind of rude did not appreciate that and I agree with some other people on here Applebee's is gone downhill. Also there was no salt on my pretzels no mayonnaise or mustard packets for my burger No Love in this experience ask for a no pink in my burger definitely pink in there went back to get the nachos highly disappointed doesn't look anything like what it's supposed to husband's so pissed off he just wants his money back I don't blame him. There's no chipotle sauce no jalapenos no sour cream there's nothing cheese and chicken way to take pride in your job

What a joke! 5 tables at 8 o’clock is all they had in the whole place. No hostess, hardly any interaction from ANYBODY. You thought we would have the best service with no one in there. Wrong!
My husband and I ordered the 2 for25. We both ordered a side salad and the grilled cheese cheese burger and a drink from the bar.
20 minutes after we placed the order, we got them. Another 30 minutes went by. No entrees. As a person who is very familiar with food industries, this was uncalled for. Every employee was in slow motion. Acting like zombies. Too much weed, I assume.
We were tired of waiting. I got up and asked for a check to pay for our two side salads and a $6 speciality drink.
No,” I’m sorry from the manager.” No nothing. He is a poor excuse for a manager. You aren’t going to make it with this kind of service. Period. Good luck!
