Food was great, we didn’t realize the restaurant was in the casino, it’s our first time visiting the area. But it was way to get to, just have to walk into the casino and deal with some cigarette smoke. But we were very happy with our meal. Some reasonably priced stuff as well as some expensive stuff, so a good balance. What you’d expect with a casino restaurant. It was dark so we didn’t really have a view of the Mississippi, but during the day the view would probably be nice.

Poor service. Made a reservation, they told me they didn't have us down (we did have an email confirmation, they didn't ask about), but they'd let us take one of the several tables open. They only gave us 3 menus and didn't come back to the table for over 20 minutes so we left.

I booked the reservation in August for our anniversary. Noted this in the booking. I had requested an outdoor table. We were told due to rain they weren't seating outside. When I mentioned that there was a roof, I was told it leaked. A couple came in shortly after us and were seated outside. We were stuck in a corner, view of high line wires. We booked here for a patio experience to celebrate our 4th anniversary. The price would have been fine if the ambiance would have been what we were anticipating. So very disappointing.

Beautiful night overall. Logan did a great job. The setting was so relaxing and the food was absolutely outstanding. We had 5 people, 2 fettucinis, one salmon, and 2 pork chops. Each person raved!!!

This was our 3rd time dining here so it can't be too bad right! Compared to other more or less fine dining in Cape it is our second choice for a place to go. The service is very much to our liking - not rushed, but around when you want something and the servers are EXCELLENT!
Beacon 53 was one of the nicest dining experiences I have had in Cape Girardeau. My husband and I made a reservation for our first wedding anniversary and every aspect was outstanding. The ambience was romantic with a gorgeous view overlooking the Mississippi River at sunset. The fireplace outside was going and the lighting was perfect inside and out. Our waitress, McKenna, gave 5 star service and made our experience that much more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful room overlooking the MS river - outside tables but too hot for us. Kenna was an excellent server and very knowledgeable about menu choices. The mussels were a real treat as was the fettucine with a most savory sauce. The potato soup and filet were equally delicious. Quiet background music created a relaxing ambiance. If you're looking for the " vibe " experience go for a Fri or Sat - we're old so it suited us perfectly!
The restaurant was severely under staffed. It was taking 20-30 min to get a drink as there was only one bartender. Our server was very polite but was covering too many tables and struggled to keep up. Food was very good though.

We came for brunch and had the crab cake Benedict and traditional eggs Benedict - perfectly prepared and the sauce was delicious. The food was amazing. Many had recommended it online and the pictures looked perfect. It definitely lived up to the images people had posted. The music was fun, the view of the Mississippi River was great for everyone, including our young son who wanted to watch the vessels pass by, and everyone found a dish they raved about. highly recommend the stuffed french toast and crab cakes Benedict. Wow. Espresso martini was a nice treat.
