Ordered shrimp lo mein and requested no vegetables through door dash. Food showed up full of vegetables and had zero shrimp. I called the store and they hung up on me. Food was garbage and the customer service was awful.

This is 'the' NY Style chinese take-out spot in Cape Girardeau. Located in Central Cape-Girardeau, this unassuming spot delivers -consistency-.
The ingredients are fresh. The bell peppers, carrots, and green beans are all bright in color. The kitchen is quick (around 10 minutes for a to-go order for two) The vegetables are always cooked al-dente and kept crisp, not cooked into oblivion.
We've had Beef and Broccoli, Spicy Beef, Szechuan Chicken, Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Fried Rice, Kung Pao Chicken, and Dumpling Soup.
We've been to every Chinese take-out spot in Cape Girardeau, this one for me is the most consistent and closest to what you'll expect for NY style takeout.
The atmosphere is typical Chinese NY Take-out spot. Frenetic Pace, open concept with a fully visible kitchen and a dated overhead 'backlit' paper menu.
It's wonderful.

Ordered fried rice with chicken, literally got like 4-5 spoons and I don’t want to write about the taste. On that price we can get like x10 in another Chinese restaurant nearby. I felt like god sent this restaurant to punish me for throwing foods away in the past. You can see size of my hand, soy sauce packet & the food.

This has been my favorite restaurant but the last order I received was bad. The fried rice was so stale and dry and I ordered extra ingredients that were burnt and tough. I will be looking for a new place

They don’t put condiments or utensils. Told we send to residencial and they have utensils. I ordered to a warehouse egg drop so up with out the noodles? Eat with hands? No solution food was fair and quick this help with a star.

I don’t mean to review places often. When I do, it’s because something really itched me. I ordered the pork fried rice and two eggs rolls after I put in a 12 hour work day. What I get is, pork fried rice and two eggs rolls but I felt like I was eating seafood. Every bite was just not what I was expecting and didn’t taste the best. Eggs rolls were okay I suppose. I gave one away to my friend. If someone could get back with me, that’d be great.

I recently moved to Cape Girardeau from the southeast United States, and was on the hunt for a good Chinese food spot that I could order delivery from. This spot is fantastic, and is hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had delivered. Delivery was fast, and the food was amazing! I'm happy to say this will be the only Chinese food I will be ordering from now on.

China Wok has by far the best Chinese takeaway in Southeast Missouri. Pretty much everything on the menu is awesome and made fresh to order every time. Just don't expect a great sit down restaurant experience, it's little more than a kitchen in a storefront but so worth stopping by to get something to take home or ,if you live Cape Girardeau, to have delivered.
