Portion sizes and food quality are not what the used to be. Carrots and apples were very over cooked and mushy. Chicken was wonderful though.

Ive been ordering the same thing for 17yrs. Not what it used to be. Small portions of what taste like frozen food heated up. Food was almost cold when I got it this last time.

Love their food and everything else they have in their store, love watching fireplace in the winter, they pop popcorn over the fire in the fireplace. Descent prices, they are usually packed with hungry people.

Great waitress.
You would think for the amount the food cost and how long it takes to get your order it would be fresh. The food was not freshly cooked. The hash browns were so cold they had grease coating the potato. The sausage patties were shriveled and the biscuit wasn't even warm enough to think about melting the frozen butter.
My husband's bacon looked like it had been baked the night before and sat in the bacon grease until served. If I ever go back it'll only be for their fried turkey dinner. I had it once in Va and it was amazing I'm willing to try. Plus I realize but all of the restaurants run the same, don't actually care about their customers.

We ordered the Thanksgiving dinner. It was so easy to heat up and delicious. The didn't have the cinnamon Roll pie we ordered so we replaced it with the apple fritters pie. We were not disappointed. It was our favorite dessert.

Waitress was atrocious!! She had an attitude, ordered gravy on potatoes but didnt get any. When asked for it she grumbled then got a small dish of gravy and all but slammed it down. Forgot our biscuits after making a point of asking which we wanted. Biscuits were good as always but butter was too cold to use and she wasn't happy when asked for honey. Portions were considerably smaller than usual and mashed potatoes were on top of chicken & dumplings. Had sweet tea but refilled with unsweetened and grumbled when fresh was requested. At the end of it all she gave us the wrong tickets! Overall horrible experience!!!!!! Restaurant was wonderful as usual.

Everything was perfectly fine except one thing. The restroom was atrocious. I had no choice but to use it and I was careful to touch nothing while doing so. I had to take the rest of my food to go. Lost my appetite after and genuinely couldn't get it out of my head that if the restroom was in the sort of shape that the kitchen could be too. The floors had years of urine stains on them as if they had never been mopped and mold growing on the walls around the sinks.
