Everyone was friendly, disappeared after food arrived. Felt as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. Food and presentation underwhelming. All food was served in to go containers and tepid in temperature. 2 hotish teas, 2 mini spring rolls, 2 lukewarm miso soup[tasted instant], and 2 noodle dishes with scant cabbage, onion, or flavor was nearly $50.

We tried it for the first time last night and it was amazing! We got the Ramen Noodle Soup and Yaki Udon with beef/spicy. It was so tasty! We will definitely be back picking up again for future dinners!

The food was great. Very authentic. My only complaint, and I hate to even mention it because the guy that was running the place by himself seemed to be doing just that all the time, is that the atmosphere. There was no oriental decor and Taylor Swift was playing. Other than that, what I'm assuming was the owner, was super nice and prepared an awesome lunch.

Hands down the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to, the owner was incredibly friendly and nice, the food was absolutely fantastic. I had 2 rolls of sushi, gyoza, and ramen and all of it was some of the best I’ve ever had for a great price. I was shocked at how little people were there after how good the food was. Over all 11/10

Best Thai milk tea I've ever had! And the pork ramen is absolutely exquisite! 💯 I tipped, so the amount is higher than the actual cost!

Donburi-Sen is the BEST small business eatery in all of Cape!
The food is absolutely delicious, and authentically made. I have visited Japan twice and craved good, real Japanese food since then and Donburi-Sen delivers on those flavors better than any other Japanese cuisine establishment anywhere else.
The rice bowls (don) are the hallmark menu item, and I'm absolutely addicted. The Gyu-don and Yakiniku-don are my favorites - so satisfying to eat with gentle but robust flavors. Never too sweet or salty, the flavors speak for themselves in every bite. You can enjoy your food with a nice green tea, or other Asian-fusion tea products and other drinks as well!
Affordable, delicious, and convenient, Donburi-Sen offers everything you could want from a Japanese fast-casual dining experience. And finally, the proprietor Kenshi-san has a heart of gold, and clearly puts his love and soul into the food he makes. His wife too is a sweetheart and you won't find a more likeable pair who are more deserving of their business.
Give these two your time and you will be so very glad you did.
1,000,000/10 for me!

The food was amazing and it was very clean. The owner was extremely nice. I do think that he would go a very long way having help within the restaurant as far as a waiter. When we went(2 people around 5pm) it was just him working and very quiet. No musis. Overall, a very good experience as far as food and cleanliness. I also think that the order on tablet is very helpful, but it's missing that one on one experience.

High quality, clean, and the most authentic Japanese food I've had in the area. The Karage & Tonkatsu were perfect 👌
Will be a regular from here on out

First time here with high expectations after reading reviews. Had two of the sushi rolls which were good, but the avocado on top was slightly over ripe and a little brown. They were served in styrofoam which was disappointing. There were no plates. Had to mix the soy sauce and wasabi in a plastic to go container.
Had the miso ramen- spicy ( there was an up charge for this) and the broth was a little too salty but noodles were nice and chewy. If you want spicy, there are packets of Sriracha on the Counter which I found after ordering.
My dining companion had the Tom yum noodle which was dry and had very little cabbage or green onion. This dish wasn’t sour or very spicy like typical Tom Yum soup. It was more of a Phad Thai. Def overpriced for what you received and also in a styrofoam to go container. It’s a self serve and you order via touch screen and get your plastic forks, napkins etc at the counter and go and sit down and wait for the food to be brought to you.
I will return to try some of the other dishes but overall and sadly, I wasn’t impressed.
