La Luna is my favorite spot! Their margaritas are hands down the best, their food is top notch, and the staff are all so kind and fun. They put everyone else to shame. I am and will always be a regular here as long as I am in the Cape area.i have had a lot off their menu and it’s all fresh, juicy, and delicious.

La Luna Mexican Restaurant is located in a strip mall opposite Walgreens on the NE corner of Kingshighway and Independence in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. They provide what I consider the standard menu of Mexican style dishes such as Burritos, Fajitas and Quesadilla. They have friendly staff and provide good value. The building doesn't have much atmosphere, but the food is delivered quickly and the service is good. Often I see larger groups of friends and work associates using this for a speedy and affordable lunch location. They often run lunchtime and evening specials so ask about those. There are several Mexican style restaurants around the town and this is one of my lunchtime favorites.

Joe and I tried La Luna for the first time and loved it. The “Choice of 5” tacos let us sample different flavors (birria was our favorite), and the steak Enchiladas Pacíficas were tasty and freshly made. We kept going back for more queso, and the margaritas were spot-on. Everyone who helped us was friendly and checked on us often. We’ll be back soon.
The chicken chimichanga came with barely any meat whatsoever which made it expensive. Everything thing else was good with a tremendous amount of chips
Salsa is watered down tomato sauce and water taste aweful and enchilada beef taste sour.
