Quaint spot with good apps and extensive wine list. Bruschetta is amazing! We saw pasta being handmade, wish we had time to stay for it! Will definitely stop again

My mother made a reservation for Mother's day for a party of 4. It was not a great experience for us. They had a limited menu and 2 of us didn't eat anything. There were only about five options on the menu. Probably worth mentioning when the reservation was made. The spaghetti was decent but not worth $20. It was a small portion and comes with nothing else. No breads, no salad options. $50 for 2 teas and two plates. The waitress was not very helpful. We left disappointed.

My husband and I were both impressed with the ambiance and the food. Being able to watch the chefs cook is not something we had experienced before and added another layer of entertainment to our evening. The scallops were some of the best I’ve had. Also, the prices were fair considering how delicious the food was. Ended the evening with tiramisu that was to die for. Truly a gem in Cape Girardeau.

My husband and I popped into Gabriel's for lunch while traveling from Memphis to St. Louis. What a great place to have a nice meal! He had the spaghetti special and I had the grouper and we both had a great glass of Italian wine. The service was great, atmosphere and food were amazing too. We even bought a bottle of wine to go and some squid ink pasta from the adjacent shop. Fantastic way to lunch!

We went for my husbands birthday. The wine list was perfect to what we wanted, the food was amazing. We had a good sample of apps, salads, and entrees. Our servers were perfectly attentive and also let us take our time. We had an amazing night.

Personally spoke with Gabriel and he was extremely rude, I don't recommend his restaurant and certainly not his company

Wow, this food was fantastic! We loved every dish we ordered and cannot wait to go back. I ate my leftovers later the same night!
Celebrated my mom's birthday here. It wasn't too busy or crowded as we went around 4 PM. The waitress was nice and knew the menu well. The food was good. I enjoyed the mushroom pasta dish and the wine. It was nice and cozy inside of the restaurant. Very elegant vibe.

I found this place years ago while passing through Cape Girardeau on the way to Memphis. Intimate, lovely, and delicious upscale food that you wouldn’t expect to find here. Yum!!

Nice. Accommodating server, with an opinion - a reliable opinion. Smart, funny, completely there yet invisible. Never had to 'find her, ' she had expert timing (lol). The chicken was just amazing. I rarely order chicken but something about a panseared Thyme Dijon thing hooked me, and I'm not sorry it did. It was just a really great Birthday. And, thank God, no one sang that lame song. It's gonna be a good year. ?

The polenta fries were a lovely start to our meal. The server recommended the mushroom and squash lasagna and it was HEAVENLY. We definitely would make the hour+ drive to dine there again.
