absolutely wonderful service and their coffee beans are the best around truly great roast! love the options on flavors as well seeing as they are one of the rare ones that serve lavender! ❤️ we love this place and the new drive through is great as our pup even loves it! great work yall truly!

Yesterday I stopped in the Mercy Ground about. The girls working were so sweet and helpful. And I ate the best BLT I’ve ever had in my life. And it was a nice good size and came with grapes! I hope I don’t need to go to the hospital again any time soon, but I may just pop in there for the excellent food and service! (I’m also an introvert and the slower quieter eating area was right up my alley!) ❤️

Loved this beautiful place for morning drinks and breakfast. The Turkish latte and Chai were delish. Breakfast sandwich was yummy. Found the foyer of something when went to the restroom. Gorgeous!!!

Delicious Matcha!

Had a great experience with the cashier and the baristas, food was good. However, my friend and I approached the counter only to be hushed by who I assume was the manager on shift. She was loudly berating the cashier for not stocking. Clearly, he had customers in line and was preoccupied with his duties. It was rude and unnecessary. Those interactions need to be held in the back, away from customers and other employees. Highly unprofessional. Did not appreciate the attitude. We still ordered and ate. Other than the off putting greeting, the atmosphere was nice, the coffee strong and all the other associates gave fabulous service. Maybe have that employee retrained.

Open Sunday for breakfast! The burrito bowl is big enough to split! The waffle flight was a sweet treat and the “Espresso me” rose and vanilla latte was a fun and different flavor!

A great find. I needed a spot for breakfast and a comfortable spot to do the morning email and socials stuff. Good coffee. A tasty everything bagel sandwich and a very pleasant atmosphere. I’ll be back next time I am downtown in Cape G.

I was staying at the Courtyard Marriott next door to this gem for a couple days (excellent hotel btw), and I visited this coffee shop twice while there. The first day was just a take out Americano, the service was good and the coffee was fantastic. I returned the next morning with more time and had breakfast (biscuits and gravy) and a pour over while I worked from their Delta Lounge-esque bar top tables (with power).

I can say that I will have to find excuses to return here for work as the experience was wonderful! Not only was the food good, the pour over was amazing. I could hear the manager (assumption) training someone on the way to prepare it. They presented the pour over on a tray with carafe instead of the unfortunately too common practice of just putting it in a regular coffee cup. They apologized for the delay even though a pour over takes time and you should not order one if you don’t have time. They asked me questions multiple times by name after my order (what coffee would you like to have Ryan, how is the pour over Ryan, etc…).

I am by no means a coffee snob, and just enjoy a nice slow cup of coffee when I have time to indulge. That being said, I hope the locals in Cape Girardeau are supporting this gem, because it is exactly that.

The fact that I am sitting here at 11:30 pm thinking about how I need to write this review should tell you what you need to know.

After I left the establishment, I returned to my hotel and encountered another guest in the elevator on my way back to my room. He saw the branded to-go coffee cup and said “that place is great isn’t it?”

If you are anywhere near Cape Girardeau and enjoy coffee, do yourself a favor and visit The Ground-a-bout….. you can thank me later!

Great coffee and food. Love the support of law enforcement. Saw a prior comment from the owner that there was a discount for all law enforcement. A little disappointed that staff refused to provide it and doesn't share the owners point of view 🤔

My family and I really enjoyed this quaint coffee shop in Downtown Cape. We tried a variety of their breakfasts including the burrito, BLT, waffle flight, and chicken & waffles. All were delicious. The salted caramel latte (both iced and hot) were delicious. I also really enjoyed the chai latte with just a hint of spice. If I'm back in the area I will come back to try other menu items. Staff were great, especially the barista he was kind and helpful. The inside is perfect for working, reading or catching up with friends!

Parking: Parking: street parking is plenty and available right outside the shop.

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility: getting in there is a small ledge. They have one stall large bathrooms. The space between tables and area near the counter is slightly narrow.

Best breakfast burrito ever! 🌯 I had to come in two days in a row to get it again. So delicious and the atmosphere was great. Plus the coffee was amazing too! Highly recommend :)

Service was fast and friendly! I had the avocado toast and it was great! Loved being able to sit outside. Great place for breakfast!
