I got the Corn Beef and it was disgusting, I have ate corn beef all over, wherever I can get it and I don't even know what this was, some nasty grey piece of meat? It was definitely not corn beef.... My guess maybe it was some type of store bought pre packaged beef brisket that they tried to brine to make into corn beef...? It did not turn out.

Beer lines taste like it's been a while since they've been cleaned.
I like the music but it's on the cheapest speakers on the planet, could use a decent sound system in there.
EXPENSIVE!!! I would say this Is the reason they were almost empty at 430pm on a Friday. And to be honest the food is mediocre. Been here twice but that's all folks.

Our first visit to Kathy's and it was worth the stop in Cape Girardeau. The building is very historic and one feels like they are truly in an Irish pub. We had the Cobb salad and the Father Kelly's Celtic Pot Pie, both were very good. The surprise was that the carrots that came with the pot pie were so good, my wife kept taking them of my plate. Stop here and enjoy!

Bar tenders are always friendly. My favorite dish is the Shepherd's Pie and Potato Soup combo can't be beat!!

Anthony was knowledgeable, personable, and had great recommendations for us newcomers! We grab the jalapeño mac and cheese bites and wow! They were crunchy on the outside with a warm gooey center with just the right amount of heat! My hubs choose the Ruben and he absolutely loved it. Just the right serving size the fries were fresh cooked and pipping hot. So tasty. I got the Shepards pie and potato soup! So delicious and filing! When we come back we will revisit for sure!!!

Best potato soup and fresh pretzel sticks anywhere! Lots of other delicious meal and dessert options. They have something for everyone. Worth the drive to Cape Girardeau!

I really enjoyed my experience here—such a fun atmosphere and the food was fantastic! I ordered the banger and mash and it was the best I’ve had! The champ was perfect and the carrots were just a bit sweet. Will definitely be back to try more options! My friend ordered the shepherd’s pie and loved it.

The best place in Cape Town eat took my friend out to eat there she enjoyed it and said she be back and my client also said the same things we all enjoyed the food and the service.

What a fun, unique place! This is a bit late because we went after the eclipse. They were very busy! With that being said, everyone was super friendly & went above & beyond to make sure we were happy. My bangers & Mash was excellent. Perfect portion size. My cocktail tasted great as well. They also have a pool table & touch tunes for music.
Definitely recommend!!
