Always enjoy going to panel bread. They have really good chicken noodle soup and when you pair that with a sandwich of your choice you have a great meal. Nice friendly service also.

The mango smoothie I got was just bananas but the sandwich was excellent
The breakfast staff are actively try the piss people off like it’s a game to them. With Panera being a cut above the rest it’s a shame that the morning manager can’t get a handle on staff to have them treat people with dignity. Problem now is the staff are so busy messing with customers that they do even make good food anymore.

The food at Panera Bread in Cape Girardeau is consistently great — it honestly deserves 4 stars. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the people who work here. The staff are some of the most condescending and rude employees I’ve ever dealt with. If you don’t give them step-by-step instructions on how to make your food, they’ll get it wrong and argue with you about it like it’s your fault. There’s a real level of disgust for how the employees treat customers. It’s as if basic courtesy and respect don’t exist in this location. The overall attitude is unprofessional, unwelcoming, and downright disrespectful. Management clearly isn’t doing anything to correct it, and it shows — the environment feels hostile instead of friendly. The food deserves 4 stars, but the service deserves to be rated in the negatives if that were possible.

Ate here for the first me and my wife and the manager Mark gave us fantastic customer service and the food was delicious also as beautiful as the food on tv!!! Highly recommend eating here

Food is good but other locations portions are way better. The soup is watered down the salads skimp on the toppings and the sandwiches barely have anything on them. Staff is very passive aggressive. Customer service jobs should be better with customers, or service. Never seen a company annoyed at getting orders.
