Food is pretty good. For takeout, don't plan on getting through on the phone - it often goes unanswered.
The catfish here is my favorite. It is kinda cramped at times but that is a good thing for the owners. There are not a lot of parking spots so be aware of that.

The food is consistently delicious, service is excellent, drinks are strong. This is not a black dress location, very casual, it is a great place to eat!!!

Never had any issues at Pilot House on Perry. Small location and limited seating. However, delicious menu and large servings. Price is very reasonable and staff is friendly and busy. Just had lunch here yesterday. Try them you will enjoy their BBQ. The Rubin sandwich is awsome
We eat here every time we come to Cape. I have watched their staff all work as a team. Small little place but super amazing food.

Sorry, but unfortunately I need to say goodbye to the Pilot House forever. I’ve been going to the Pilot House since I was a little girl but I’m also a part of the family in the earlier review who was denied seating for the “regular customers.” I believe 50 years of dining in your restaurant counts as being a regular customer too. You should possibly review your seating policy because you’ve lost an entire family who has supported your business for 50+ years.
Food is great. The only downfall is it's small and very hard to find a seat
Catfish Dinner is very good.
Best local place to eat in Cape Girardeau!! BBQ, cold cuts, fish steak doesn’t matter foods always amazing!!! The stuffed mushrooms are the best I’ve ever had!! Absolutely great place to eat!
