Cute little spot in the middle of the downtown area. There are bright windows to let in the sun and I was promptly greeted when I arrived. There is plenty of seating and appears to have a generous bar. They also have Italian sodas and other non alcoholic beverages. The pizza was wonderful. I got the Margherita pizza. The crust is thin, but also chewy at the edge. There was. Right amount of chunky sauce and ingredients. Cooked under a fire oven, nothing better! I also saw several desserts on display although I didn't partake. I imagine I'll be back for more pizza!

Loved the location and the atmosphere. We were staying at the hotel across the street and visited there twice. The employees were awesome, appetizers and pizza good, drinks both basic and fancy.

Gabrielle, the owner prepares your wood fired pizza right in front of you in hia tall ceramic oven not 10 feet from the bar. The food, drinks and service are excellent, but Gabrielle is what earned a rating at all, let alone five stars! We've been here three times and will certainly be back. He also just opened a new pasta place a couple of blocks away that we haven't tried, but we certainly will.

The food was very good. Service was good as well. We ordered the zucchini blossoms and the All You Cam Meat pizza. Both were delicious.

Super good pizza in Cape! Loved how thin & crispy the crust was. My favorite was the Speck signature, I loved the sweet & savory combo & the walnuts were a nice touch. The Portofino is great for olive lovers! We also tried the chicken & potato croquette which was my favorite from the street food menu. Nothing beats a crispy ball of creamy potatoes. My boyfriend and I also loved the zucchini blossom. Would love to come back next time I'm in Cape!

My friend and I had lunch there today. We shared the spinach salad with grilled chicken, goat cheese, walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette and the cheese stuffed fried zucchini flowers. All were delicious! They were bright and fresh, beautifully plated. Our server, Cassie, was excellent. The restaurant was bright and clean. Oh yes, be sure to try the coconut gelato for dessert.

My wife and i are in town for a couple of days to celebrate her birthday. While she is boutique shopping were always asking where do the locals eat. Speck pizza was recommended to us. Upon arrival they are very busy but we was promptly seated. Our waiter came right over and got our drink order. When he returned with our drinks we ordered our pizza. We got 1/2 margarita and the other 1/2 allWe actually told the waiter we would need more drinks when he brought our pizza. Our waiter actually didn't bring our pizza one of the cooks did. The outside edges of the pizza was burnt and towards the inside of the pizza was doughy and runny like the dough wasn't cooked enough. We ate what we could of the pizza and the rest we let go. We actually ate the toppings with a fork and let some of the dough go. The pizza actually had a good taste and would have been awesome if the edges weren't burnt and tasted burnt and more towards the center was cooked more.We never saw our waiter again until he came to bring us our check. We had been out of drinks for most of our meal and was basically drinking the ice as it melted. Needless to say we was disappointed. I'm a pizza Phanatic so any time i go to a new town i want to eat at a local pizza place. We was excited to try this pizza because the girl that recommended the place really bragged on the wood fired pizza. I'm guessing we went on a bad night. I gave it three stars and probably should not.

I have now eaten here 2 times. I do not have celiac but do have a gluten sensitivity. I also realize this is a pizza restaurant...however with many more people dealing with gluten allergies, I would hope that a newer establishment would offer something more than salads that would cater to the gluten-free community. I'm not even asking for a gluten-free crust, but even just one option under the street food. Just my opinion.

Delicious food, distracted server. We tried the caprese salad, zucchini flowers to start. Salad was great, loved the heavy seasoning in the dressing. Pizzas were both good. Very thin crusts, and the toppings made them tough to pick up easily. But great taste! Had Italian beer and carrot cake as well. All great tasting, but with tip, ended up being around $100.We were there around lunch, and our server seemed more interested in talking with the other staff. Each interaction took a while as we sat in eye sight waiting, as he talked with the others there. Not terrible if you have time to linger, but when you are hungry or are ready to go, frustrating. We also realized that we weren't given the shakers of parm and red pepper, so I went and took them off another table. I don't think that he even noticed. If we lived closer, it's a place that I imagine going to repeatedly, but only when I had time to wait.

I stopped into Speck Pizza while staying in town overnight. I ordered the Speck Signature Pizza and it was so good! So fresh and delicious. I am normally a pepperoni pizza girl but just had to try this pizza and was NOT disappointed. I would recommend eating in though because the place was cute and comfortable and they had a full bar. The employees were real nice too. Definitely come here for pizza it's awesome!

From the look of the place to the taste of the food, this feels more like an experience you might expect in a city larger than cape Girardeau. It's a fun, bright, modern, lively atmosphere with great attentive service. The flavor combinations are surprising and delightful. Give yourself permission to try new things that you wouldn't normally get on pizza. The beautiful pizza oven is not just for looks. The extraordinary crust will leave you raving! Don't miss the appetizers as well. We are already planning what else to try on our next visit!

Very tasty pizza. Service was great considering only one server for entire floor majority of our meal. Come prepared to talk loudly to be heard and get the water, $3 for 12oz can of soda is obscene rip off which I would have avoided if the price had been on menu.
