Very nice place, feels on the fancy side. Wanted to like it, but we ordered pizza and stuffed garlic bread, and really, they both tasted the same. Everything was bland :-/. If I would go back, it would be for the atmosphere over the food. If it is a busy night and you have trouble parking. Don't forget about the parking lot across from Discovery Playhouse.

The pizza here is always so fresh-tasting and flavorful. My kids can’t get enough of their gelato and can’t ever talk myself out of the tiramisu. I honestly don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. The waitresses we’ve had have been excellent, too. They are always so kind and go out of their way just to make sure you have a nice time. I 100% recommend Speck if you’re looking for delicious food and kind people. ?
Pizza is awesome. The waitress was so sweet, and I never had to ask for anything. The dessert was beyond words.

We were in town for the Babe Ruth World Series and stumbled across Speck while walking around downtown. It was FANTASTIC! Fresh ingredients, the pizza was authentic and delicious. The house salad was equally as amazing too! We loved it so much we took our son for our last dinner in Cape and he too loved everything about it! The calzone was also so incredibly good with the fluffiest crust! The atmosphere was great, the waitstaff super friendly and parking was a breeze with a public parking lot diagonal to the restaurant! We shared Speck with our teammates' families and they thoroughly enjoyed it too! Give this place a try - you definitely will not be disappointed!
I wanted to order a sandwich, but not the mustard. The waitress said they are made up early and could not be custom-ordered. That is very disturbing. There were very few customers -- maybe five tables. Is this like high school where they buy sandwiches in plastic bags and heat them up? That sandwich would have cost $15.50. Even McDonald's will custom make my sandwich without mustard. For these prices, I would think they make your sandwich fresh. I settled for a margherita pizza that was mediocre. Very bland. The name of the place is Speck Pizza, so you would think their flagship dish would have more taste. It was the very first item in the menu. I took home the leftovers you see here, so it was a generous size for one person. The service was sad. Neither of us got a drink refill and left thirsty.
Parking: The parking is bad since downtown Cape has terrible parking. They built these awful bubbles at the corners so that you cannot have easy parking at the ends of the blocks. I usually never go downtown, but was treating my friend and she chose this place. They have artwork and bushes which block your visibility at many of the corners. Downtown is a nightmare. The sidewalks and parking bubbles are a sad waste of tax dollars.
