This place is very fun. Great environment and atmosphere!! The pictures do not do it justice. Soooo big...and set up very nice. Definitely going back!!!Couldn't rate the food because we didn't eat there...but we will next time !!!Great owner...she's very friendly and hospitable.

Lots of room in this place to hang out. Bartenders were awesome and interactive. There were signs posted that said no smoking or vaping but people were vaping, and as someone allergic to smoke it was enough to make our group leave ?

We had a really great time at the Library. The drinks were perfect and the live band was pretty good. The bathrooms were super clean and had a nice comfy bench which was perfect if you needed to take a break from dancing ;) We came here in January so it was fairly chilly, but you forgot about how cold it was once you stepped outside on their patio with the heated lamps and the live band. This place has the perfect vibe and is great for all ages! We saw people dancing and having a great time no matter if they were in their 20s or their 80s.
Great place to catch up with old friends, or meet new ones. Live music on Fridays worth the trip.

Kathy, you’ve made this bar & lounge a staple in Downtown Cape Girardeau. Come here for more than just a good time, grab a bite to eat while you watch the games on the big screens.. or make your way towards the dart boards.. step outside to a huge covered patio equip with seating, a stage for live music, fans & smoking is allowed + the outdoor mini bar..(also has A/C restrooms that are SO NICE) then you keep walking over to an actual adult playground with life size beer pong, cornhole, all the fun things!The crowd is a broad mixture of all ages - possibly the strictest on ID’s so you know you’re not going to be surrounded by underRagers which is not only the law, but awesome & comforting ?So, if you’re in Cape for a night, and you’re reading this review right now, go to The Library! The lovely ladies & the most fabulous owner, Kathy, are behind the bar featuring the finest spirits, wines, beers, you name it - they make it!I also gotta hand it to the male security staffed here- they are ALL diligent and there for the safety of the bar & patrons. Hands down, one of the TOP bars & lounge in Downtown Cape Girardeau, MO !!
