Our uncle from Nashville, Tennessee was in attendance and he told me that he hasn’t found any bbq place in his area to match what we had that day.

This is some serious soul-changing BBQ y’all! The pulled pork is juicy and the sauce is delicious. That brisket though?? 😍 It has a good spice rub on it, nice bark, tender and full of love. The moonshine sauce is a must have for the brisket sandwich (or pretty much anything, really). 🔥 Go get you some!

I had True-que at a local event and it was absolutely delicious. The pork steak was so tender that it fell apart. I also had the catfish, baked beans, and mac and cheese. All were excellent. It was possibly the best barbecue that I haver ever had.

The food was absolutely fantastic. It was juicy and tender. Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. The service was great. The people were polite and respectful. They seemed to appreciate every customer. The location is odd and away from the big franchise restaurants, but, to me, adds to it's unique charm. Sometimes the best food is found in little family places like this. We will definitely be back and suggest others try it. You won't be disappointed!!!

This place has a wonderful old school vibe, the owner is charming and the food is great! I had a rib sandwich and was at first surprised that the bones were in the meat, but it was amazing to pull them out and have them come out clean! Add their sauce and that was a wonderful sandwich! Ordered the side slaw and it was the perfect accompaniment. Saw some others with the waffle fries and wish I had ordered those too, next time. A fun authentic place!
