Word of warning to those who get the wings. We’ve never had issues until today. They substituted the mango habanero without telling us with something else that was horrendously spicy.

My boy loves the mango habanero but whatever they replaced it with was like lava. He started screaming and crying. I couldn’t understand what was happening until I tried the chicken. I love extremely spicy food but this was next level and totally inappropriate for a 7 year old boy.

When I called the store, the manager said that sometimes they substitute the spice. When I asked what she could do to make things right, she said she couldn’t really do anything. She could give us a free sandwich meal or 15% off the next time we go, but we aren’t going back again. She wouldn’t do anything for the meal my boy suffered with. And she didn’t even give an apology.

This is totally unacceptable. It makes me sad because I love this restaurant but my boy refuses to ever go again, understandably so. We’ll have to start going to Big Ben’s again.

The food here was fantastic! My husband and I got the dinner for two with the full rack of ribs and four sides. The ribs were so so good super tender. We’ve been trying to find a good rib place since Red Hot and Blue closed down. We also tried the porkanator sandwich yum! This is definitely the place to go and for only $40

So freaking good. Especially after a long bike ride. The Mac and cheese reminds me of stouffer‘s Mac and cheese in like the best possible way. Great place!

Best prices and a ton of food! Drinks (soda, tea, etc) are included in meals. Love the hand-cut curly fries (1 of only 3 restaurants to have them in the Joplin area that I've found).

On the trail of Route 66 in Carthage you have the opportunity to taste delicious pork tones at boomer. Unlike many other bbqs, the tubs are not fatty but on the contrary supplied with meat. Special mentions also to coslaw and corn that you can choose as an accompaniment. You order and pay and the dish will be brought to you. Route 66 atmosphere. Smiling and very friendly staff. For three people count 40 euros

Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. D pulled pork was moist and flavorful. No bbq sauce needed. I did try their sauce ash’s it was also very good. My husband had the half slab of ribs. Amazing!!! Highly recommend. ❤️ workers were awesome super friendly and came around multiple times to fill beverages ❤️❤️

The people here are so incredibly nice! They've got some amazing pulled pork! And you can't go here without getting their twice baked baked potato casserole. Oh man, it's so good! I tried the brisket recently and won't be getting that again, it was dry, bland and so thinly sliced it may as well have been roast beef. And there's an upcharge for it, so I definitely regretted that purchase. Glad I got pulled pork, too! Saved the meal. ?
