El Charro is always a good experience. The food is consistently good and so is the service. Prices are more than fair, food comes out fast, and there's hardly ever a long wait.
The best part of our experience here was the people we were with. The waiter was very nice as well. Food definitely wasn't to the level of other local restaurants of the same fare. However this was reflected in the cost and the statement you pay for what you get rings true so if you aren't setting your expectations very high and need a cheaper evening this would probably be a good option.
I have ordered takeout many times. It is always ready when I arrive and it is always excellent. I usually get street tacos or fajitas. I also highly recommend the roasted jalapeños with your meal. Just ask for them because I’m not sure if they are on the menu.
