Indian Restaurants near Carthage

“This is an interesting place, a hidden gem. It doesn’t look like anything from outside, barely even a truck stop. But the food is delicious and the shelves are lined with Punjabi grocery staples. I talked to the young man working there and gathered that the customers are mostly long-haul truck drivers from India who stop in for a shower and a familiar meal. There’s even a familiar Punjabi style “table” - don’t know the real term for it.

The food was delicious, and I’d guess it’s the most authentic Indian/Punjabi food in Missouri. Not your typical Americanized Indian food; not a buffet. Just really good food.“

“First time stopping at this truck stop. The staff were friendly and attentive, showers were clean with plenty of hot water. The coffee was good and the food was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to rest and eat .“
