I am from NC and passed through Carthage for a work trip on my way to Kansas City. My colleague and I hadn't had lunch and we found Roscoes on Google maps. When we first pulled up we see the jail and bails bondsman across the street so I had to wonder what dive bar we were at lol. Inside, this place was amazing. It was super clean and the atmosphere was comfortable and sophisticated. The environment was welcoming with flowers and candles and 2 fire places and the bathrooms...
Karaoke with Doc is awesome. The sound system is great, the food is great, there are pool tables, a honky tonk piano on the patio, they have Guinness on tap, clean bathrooms and plenty of off street parking in the back. The bartenders are personable and the atmosphere is great. This is the place to go for a good time in Carthage.
Very surprised how nice this place was. The bartender was friendly and attentive to our needs. Great food and atmosphere! Had the tortilini and it was excellent. Wife had the gumbo and it was great!
