Overall, the food is decent and the price reflects that. We were looking for a Chinese restaraunt while on a quick hotel visit nearby and the lady at the front desk recommended this restaraunt. Wasn't bad but we weren't blown away by it either. The 'fried rice' should be rebranded as pepper rice because there was zero flavor aside from all of the black pepper in it (something I should have noticed before ordering since I'm seeing that mentioned in fellow reviews).We ordered a general tso's chicken to split along with some potstickers and both of the dishes were good minus the rice. The Tso's chicken was very lightly breaded and was cooked perfectly, and tasted great. The potstickers were a tad overdone but were still decent!We did however make the mistake of ordering our items through DoorDash (won't do that again) and the 1 hour wait definitely took a toll on the overall quality of the items. The chicken was still hot on arrival but that was it. The potstickers were completely cold and so was the rice. While this is not the fault of the restaraunt (and is not being factored into my review) it definitely helped make a decent lunch out to being just okay. All of that said, I'll definitely give it another shot next time I'm in Carthage in the hopes that a few different menu items will result in a higher opinion and review!

The food is delicious! The sweet n' sour chicken is very good and my brother really likes the general chicken. I recommend calling in to place your order and picking it up through the drive through. The staff is friendly and the food is fantastic!

Orient Express is always our go to! Everything is always fresh and they are super fast! Only thing I would change is the pepper in the rice. Not really a fan and they should maybe make it optional? Other than that they won't disappoint! ?

The food was fresh and decent but nothing special. I'm not sure the rice portion could be any smaller and they are stingy with the condiments. One fortune cookie for three orders of food. Overall though, fresh, fairly tasty and fast.
General was good but i think they forgot the spice. no garlic no crushed red pepper. just chicken stock a hoisin sauce. but definitely better then some of the other places at least chicken was tender.

Needed everything but a blood sample to have them replace an item that I found a hair in. When you work for a company that could send several different people to pick up lunch orders, it's hard to know the name on the order. Customers can't just get food replaced when Orient Express messes up.
