Maybe our favorite stop on our way into Carthage from Kansas, we make a point to stop at least once on our way. A perfect quaint griddle, lots of character perfect portions and some of the friendliest folks I've yet met in the show me state. It's worth getting up early to come in for the best omelets this side of the Mississippi. Club sandwich isn't nothing to sneeze at either.
Route 66 vintage and down to earth atmosphere with simple, good home like cooking - excellent service. We try to come here everytime we visit Carthage or are going through. Its a local favorite
Wanted breakfast while passing through after driving all night and was not disappointed by this little charm. 2 of us ate for about 20 bucks. Would have been about 15 but we weren’t sure if we could split the “show me sampler” without our own hash-browns. Super cheap with big portions, definitely worth the stop. The people were also very friendly.
