Clean inside, and good service. Had the carne asada which tasted decently. Meat was lacking a little bit of salt.2nd time here: had the chilaquiles. Note: every Mexican restaurant have their own interpretation of food; I made the mistake of assuming the chilaquiles would be bathed in red sauce with queso fresco and refried beans, instead I got tortillas chips with pollo, and American cheese. The food still tasted good, but it wasn’t what I expected.
Not great food but very good. Big menu w wide selection and reasonably priced. Waiters always friendly and attentive. Pleasant quiet atmosphere. Nice stop right along 57 at east Charleston exit, last in Missouri. Quite a long drive going northbound on 57 well into Illinois before you find any food at exit. This is the perfect stop to relax and have some good Mex food

I got the burrito mi publo. It is so good. The flavor was there. Portion size is good. The chips and salsa that comes out is as good as well. The chips are light. My waiter could have been around more often but I’m not going to let this place stop me from giving it 5 stars. Super good. Will be back.
