Bishop's Post Reviews
My company, MARIS, held a dinner four our retiring CEO on Friday evening and it was absolutely wonderful! I worked with Jade in planning the event and she was very responsive and helpful. She and Jasmin took care of all the attendees and provided superb service. Our food was excellent and the room was set just as planned. I would highly recommend Bishop’s Post for your next event. They will not disappoint. Thank you Jade, Jasmin, and staff for making our party a success!
Last Friday we hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner at Bishop’s Post. The entire evening was more than we could have hoped for as hosts. The setting was beautiful, the food was delicious and prepared perfectly, and the staff was attentive. Jade, our event planner, was helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process and was present and available throughout the evening. I would definitely host another event at Bishop’s Post!

Bishop's Post offers a pleasant dining experience with a great atmosphere. The restaurant features a beautifully landscaped patio, with a waterfall, flowers, and lighting, making it peaceful and a perfect spot for a nice relaxing evening and fall dining. Guests find the food superb, and the menu selection is wide. The portions are immense, with the signature fried chicken described as hitting all the spots, served with syrupy sweet potatoes and a flaky biscuit. Other meals enjoyed include the halibut special, meatloaf (two huge slices!), and shrimp and grits, all proclaimed flavorful and most enjoyable. The service is attentive, with superb waitstaff providing helpful suggestions, explaining specials, refilling drinks, and serving food warm. Guests also enjoy drinks such as the old fashion, and the wine selection is great. While securing a spot during peak patio season can be a challenge, and service can be slow at times, the overall experience remains positive with many looking forward to returning. Bishop's Post continues to be a solid choice for a dining outing.
