Came here tonight for my daughter’s 17th birthday dinner and let me tell you, did not disappoint!!! I started with a sweet heat Margarita and it is hands-down one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had. We ordered Penne vodka pasta, Spaghetti and meatballs, Margarita pizza and chicken and broccoli Alfredo…none of us left hungry and had tons left over to go. Such great ambience and my kids and myself had an amazing evening. We will definitely be making this a regular spot!! (Sorry my pics aren’t the best)

This is one of the few restaurants that can truly do St. Louis Italian style. The dining areas had a modern design while still keeping it warmly lit and inviting. We started with the Whiskey Shrimp, Caprese salad, and the Sicilian Hot Wings and could not have been more pleased. Our actual entrees, the Scampi and Roasted Chicken Picatta, were portioned just enough that we were able to have some leftovers, which is always a plus. And they were delicious both the first and second time around. You could tell a lot of care went into the dishes. The wine menu was substantial, and the Tuscan Blend paired well with all the platters we ate. We didn't get to try the dessert menu since we were full by the end of our meal, but we will be back to do so! Such a fantastic experience and a wonderful place for a date night!

Rating 5 stars because the food was good but the service was excellent. Elliana was our server and she was fantastic! She was constantly checking to make sure we had everything we needed and was on top of everything. We will definitely be coming back to GIO for the omelettes, mimosas, and amazing service!

Food is not that great, not tasty nor authentic. Atmosphere is really good and service is okay - didn't feel like you're welcomed here.

Really nice Italian restaurant in the Chesterfield Valley. Beautiful white tablecloth environment. Reasonably priced.

Great waning staff and a really good service.

Special Manhattan with a unique vermouth really tasted great.

Steak salad has a huge amount of really nice steak in it.

The chicken piccata is served with a whole half of chicken.

The pasta with vodka sauce was excellent. Had it with grilled chicken.

I ordered pick up from Gio Modern Italian today. I want to say I’ve never written a negative review on a restaurant before, but this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I paid $25 for a lunch special. They forgot the extra meatball, I ordered spaghetti meatball and got less than a cup of spaghetti which included a meatball. The spaghetti had no flavor. I also ordered the berry salad which is about a cup and half of salad. There were no utensils or napkins. And I gave them a tip for their service???? I will never order from this restaurant again. Their food is overpriced and terrible service for carry out!!! I called the manager and left a message, but no call returned. If you haven’t tried this restaurant, don’t waste your time or money.

A good 30 minutes from my house, I will go to Gio’s anytime anyone says the word.

*Thoughtful & delicious food menu
*Phenomenal drink list (especially 🍷)
*Fun atmosphere & environment but also has that cozy feel.

Staff are excellent humans and many have worked there for several years-a testament to the culture of the place.
Shoutout to Mike who has been our server often. His care and hospitality are another reason we keep coming back.

Absolutely amazing gluten free entrees and appetizers! We had the scallops with risotto appetizer, grilled chicken picatta and lobster mac & cheese pasta all made gluten free! I would never have known the pasta was gluten free. The lobster mac & cheese was so rich and creamy. Our server Tarn was fantastic. She anticipated every need and got us everything we needed very quickly. There was gluten free bread too. That was like sandwich slices grilled. It was okay. The dipping olive oil and balsamic made it good. Love the mood lighting. Great for a romantic night or with friends etc. Wonderful service. Incredible food. Will be back!

I've had the pleasure of dining at GIO a few times now, and have had a stellar experience each time. The staff is delightful, the food is delicious, and the vibes are immaculate! GIO is always a stop for me when visiting STL :)

Shoutout to our awesome server/friend, Ben, for always taking care of me and my coworkers when we stop by!

Love Gio!! Great classic Italian cuisine. Upscale and yet still casual dining. Excellent spot for date night, work dinners, catching up with friends. Nicely decorated and always clean. Excellent wine and bourbon selection. Make it in for happy hour before 6 pm and get $2 off all cocktails and wine, plus a great happy hour food menu with bruschetta, meatballs, toasted ravs, pizza. Highly recommend getting reservations if planning to go for dinner. Cute outside area for dining and drinks too.
