Dietary restrictions Spent about $30 on two orders of toasted ravioli no Parmesan only they receive two orders with Parmesan and they f me over and the manager had the audacity to lie to me that the fact they looked at it for not having cheese on it and yet when I got home, there was in fact cheese on it

Used to go to the Lin Ferry SoCo location years ago. Used to love this place. This one was a bit disappointing. Service was terrible, food was okay. The filthiness of the vents in the restroom and back by the kitchen grossed me out!! It smelled musty like mold inside a bit too. Not appetizing at all.

Food was ok but won’t be back due to above reasons. Sad.

My Mom used to go to Cafe Manhattan back in the day, and we were catching a movie at the AMC nearby, so we decided to step in for a bite to eat. This is a cute cafe for sure. It gives 40’s diner vibes with black and white flooring, jukeboxes and other retro knick-knacks.

The service was middle of the road. Our waitress was sweet when we saw her, but it wasn’t often. At times, she seemed annoyed by us. Like, when I asked for a shake, she complained that it takes a while to make a shake. I will admit, my Cookies & Cream Shake was good (but rather heavy).

The food was also, meh. The Toasted Ravioli were heavy. I appreciated that they are house-made, but wow. These things are FRIED and crunchy to the maximum. Our burgers were pretty good though, and the fries were served with some of the best ranch I’ve ever had.

We would maybe come back, considering the pretty low prices. Keep in mind, this place is a greasy-spoon. Don’t expect healthy food, and I left feeling a bit more “full” than I was hoping for. Definitely not your everyday food.

The chocolate malts are to die for. Absolute best in the St. Louis area.

This manhattan inspired cafe in St. Louis has such a cute interior with nice NYC decor. We sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before getting a table. Our waitress was super friendly and efficient and got our order out really quickly. I went with the turkey sandwich and soup combo and it was solid. My friends got sandwiches with fries and seemed to really enjoy theirs too. It feels like a hidden gem on a busy street. Parking can be tricky but there is usually street parking. I would recommend this place for a quick bite, a chat with friends, or even a casual date night.

Absolutely the best food we ate on our trip to STL. I had a Reuben with grilled onions and let me say, the fist bite was absolutely mind numbing !! Best Reuben I’ve ever eaten wife had the patty melt and seeing her expression we both agreed, this small cafe will be our go to every trip and more than likely visit more than once. Son had the a cheese pizza and this is not crust from some truck delivery !! It’s gooood pizza !! Soda fountain specials and the apple pie brings this place back to the way food used to be THAT good !! Now I will say, as most restaurants expect 10-15 per person to eat not counting drinks. But this is nothing unusual!! Will be back asap !!

The atmosphere revolves around Elvis Presley and his early years including an old time gas pump. The server may have been overloaded with teenagers a few days before school starts. One table of 4 next to us was all boys boisterous bellyaching for attention. Only one had a credit card and he was loudly leveraging his last 20 dollars so everyone knew it. The five on the other side were teenagers girls who could all talk at the same time and know what each said.
The single hamburger was easily a double and I made 2 meals of it. The onion rings were good and part of the second meal.

This is a great casual diner atmosphere where locals go for great soups, salads, and sandwiches. They’re also known for St. Louis style pizza. The service is fast. The iced tea is great. The milkshakes are very good. It is perfect for all ages and it’s perfect for grandma to take the kids or the whole family to come for a quick bite. It is one of the more dependable and reliable restaurants in town. It is not fancy, but the food is quality. The loud Elvis and Coca-Cola Decor makes it feel like a throwback, but the food and menu items have something to offer everyone.

The food was great but the real charm is the decor and the service. Our server Becky was incredibly friendly and chatted with me while we ate. The servers talk to the regulars like family and welcome new customers like long lost siblings. I definitely will be visiting again.
