Love Herbie's. This was an off day. I ordered eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce in the side. It came out as normally prepared with the sauce on the dish. My wife asked for specific ingredients in her omelette. Wasn't asked if she wanted it or not, but it came with cheese inside and melted on top. She didn't want cheese and didn't order cheese. Otherwise, all was good.

We have been there MANY times since they moved (and before). They have hired multiple executive chefs. I think they can't decide upon the clientele they want to attract. A couple of visits ago, their classic Wellington (my usual since the 70's and as a kid, before) had been changed so much I have vowed to never order it again. The meat, the sauce, the contents of the sauce, and the shell were ALL no longer classic. We were there again on 19-Sept-25 to hear a friend play...

Had a great brunch on the patio. We decided to split the everything burrito and bennie both were prepared great. We did the bottomless mimosas so we're there for a bit and never felt rushed.
