We had a wonderful 1st experience! The food was great and our waitress was the best. We will definitely be back.
Fabulous eatery! Great portion sizes and delicious meals. Sharing is caring! Loved the vibe. It is an excellent place to spend a couple of hours dining with friends and family.
Quick meal at the bar. Friendly staff, casual vibe. Menu solid. The timing of the courses was tight but might have been intended for a solo diner at the bar!
I’ve really wanted to like this restaurant—truly. But after three visits, I’ve come to the conclusion that the food isn’t very good. I’m sorry, it isn’t.
The pizza is decent for what it is—a basic cheese, plate-sized, and $19. I tried the pistachio ravioli once—it was OK. Tonight, I went with the chicken entrée, hoping it was a hidden gem, and we started with the risotto balls. They were fried beyond perfectly but tasted like cheese balls—nothing more to them. We liked them, but they were fried and we were very hungry.
My three kids ordered from the kids menu. At $14 a plate, it felt like a lot for what they got, but fine. When my chicken arrived, it was so salty I couldn’t eat it. I hate complaining, but when the waitress asked how it was, I blurted it out. She was very nice about it.
My wife got the bolognese. The pasta fell apart when you tried to eat it, and the flavor seemed off—we barely touched it. It was overcooked and had clearly been sitting for a while. It was congealed together, and I was cutting it like lasagna with my fork. Like the restaurant, I kept taking little bites, trying to like it and not feel like a food snob. But for $27—and given that pasta should be the backbone of a place like this, especially one with “pasta” in the name—it was really pretty gross.
No alcohol, one actual entrée, and most of our party ordering from the kids menu, and the bill with tip was $162. The space is beautiful, and the location is great, but after giving it a fair shot, the food is at best overrated, and at worst, simply not good.
EXCELLENT FOOD. Will be back!
Our first time here and we will be back ASAP! Excellent service from Gretchen! She was amazing! Burrata was incredible. We split the aglilo de olio and the roman pizza and both were fantastic! All wine we had was top notch! Fantastic place!!
Wait staff was great and very accommodating, however this was one of the worst restaurant food experiences we have had in a long time. I got the ravioli and my husband got the bolognese. The ravioli was tasteless and he describes the bolognese as tasting like "barf". To add to the unpleasantness, we are both now sick to our stomach and on our way to Taco Bell to get something filling and better tasting. Highly disappointed as this restaurant was recommend to us :(
The dark chocolate gelato is insane and the tiramisu is actually really good - exactly how we remember them from visiting Italy. The pasta dishes were all on point as well. Very well done and thought out menu

Yummy food, nice atmosphere! It's very busy so the food took awhile to get to us. The pricing was pretty standard for good Italian food, and everything is homemade so it's worth the price!

I love Pastaria! We came in to celebrate a birthday. Made a reservation in advance so wait time was pretty short. Our waitress brought us bread to start, and was very attentive throughout. We got super delicious cocktails, and split the Bucatini All' Amatriciana pasta and the Roman pizza. Both were so delicious and quite filling. Everything came so fast too, we were in and out in less than an hour. The low lighting and intimate space make it perfect for a romantic dinner for two. It was a great fancy birthday celebration. Be prepared to drop a pretty penny, but the food and drinks are worth the price tag!

High priced pizza joint. Pizza just meh.... Very noisy so if you are with a group it's impossible to hear. I recommend going and judging yourself, but think there are better places in town.

This place accomodated 11 of us on a business trip from out of state. The service was excellent, as was the food. They were very accomodating of our stay on a Sunday night. I recommend the mushroom app, and I normally do not like mushrooms.
