Great menu, but the preps were kind of disappointing and even the chocolate chip cookies were over baked. Got so many recommendations...maybe we should have gone with pizza rather than the soup, salads and ciabatta. The salmon was just ok, the kale Caesar are pretty good and wonderful tomato sauce with the ciabatta, but the ciabatta was so thickly cut. It was really a turnoff. And the creamy mushroom soup was average at best. even the wine pour was . Overall average at best even though a pleasant ambience. Maybe we just had a bad night staff wise.
The food did not come out at the correct times. The bread and soup were supposed to be first. The potato wedges were very late coming out. Other than that, everything was delicious and our servers were attentive
It was great other than I ended up paying for items I did not order. Split checks and they were incorrect. Did not notice til card was already swiped and then she never came back over
Peel is a long-time favorite. We tried new items to us and loved them all - prosciutto involutini, tomato mozzarella panzanella salad, garlic fire chicken pizza.
Love Peel, always enjoy coming to this location especially with large parties. They are always able to accommodate large parties, which is not very common in Clayton.
Great service, great food. Very loud tho... could be bc we were behind bar and next to kitchen.
Cannot say nicer things about this restaurant, the Waite, staff, the chef, the food quality and the overall experience. Highly recommend.
Flavor-punched food, excellent beers, stellar service (tip of the hat to Anthony) and fair pricing. Recommended dishes: the you-must-not-miss Korean lettuce wraps (with lovely dry leafs of Romaine), the Argentinian steak pizza, and the bargain beer flights (4 nice-sized offerings for $9). The warm chocolate chip cookies provide a sweet ending to a casual weekday meal.
We were very happy with the experience. Didn't realize they brew their own beer. Food and drink were excellent. We will definitely be back!
We went during happy hour on a Friday. They have some very nice specials on food and beer until 5:30pm. All items were very tasty

I went to peel for a business lunch and even though it was busy& even had some large groups the service was promot. The noise level was also low so hearing each other at our table was easy!
Had very nice meal and very reasonably priced. Service was excellent and very quick. We shared a salad and had two pizzas. The atmosphere is excellent and very spacious. Peel is great stop for families.
We tried your food at Zoofari... realized we needed to try more. We loved the food and experience. Your staff was knowledgeable and easy to talk with about the menu and restaurant. We will be back... our new goal is to tryout the entire menu.
We liked this place overall. It's expensive for pizza, but I must say the food is delicious. My three nit-picky items: 1) didn't receive happy hour pricing per menu 2) Italian sausage on pizza was lacking flavor 3) pretzel rolls had no pretzel flavor, but certainly came out looking the part. The in-Ouse mustard & Parmesan cheese dip for those bites were EXCELLENT. Would we return??? MAYBE...
Very reliable restaurant for excellent food and service. Some of the best wings in STL. The lucheon menu for$18.00 is quite a good value....
