I used to frequent the Nosh on a regular basis when my hairdresser was in Clayton but hadn't been in over 5 yrs. Decided to make the drive from IL for lunch today and it was well worth it! Everything was just as delicious as I remember and my husband enjoyed his first Nosh experience as well! We will definitely be back soon!

Doordashed some food so I have no opinion on the staff or the vibe of the restaurant. It was decent food but definitely not worth the price even with the DoorDash tax (a bowl of chili and a French dip set me back $30, and that was before delivery fees or “service fees”). The bowl of chili tasted like a high-quality canned chili, and the French dip was not how I like them (I didn’t realize it was a deli until the food arrived, my mistake). The French Dip uses deli style roast beef slices which I found to be extremely chewy with how much they put on there. The bread and cheese were pretty standard nothing to write home about, and the amount of au jus they gave me was enough for a single dip or two before it ran out. All in all, definitely wouldn’t DoorDash it again but might see what prices are like actually in the restaurant.

STL best no longer. :( I’m an STL native and have never written a review but this places decline broke my heart so I hope this helps some people. This place used to be one of the best delis in STL. Unfortunately new management is running it into the ground. You used to have a WWII vet take your order, friendly staff hustled to get your order ASAP and a one armed man would bus your table. It was always busy with a line out the door. New management fired everyone or the old staff didn’t want to work for them so now the place is empty, dine in and to go take FOREVER and the staff aren’t friendly. The sandwich recipes are awesome but I’d say don’t waste your money. Go down the street to 5 Star Burgers where good food and service still exist.

LOVE THIS PLACE! It is so close to my office so I often walk here for lunch. The best part of Posh Nosh is the wonderful staff. The ladies that work in here are SO friendly and make it a very enjoyable experience. The food is delicious and is always stacked high!

Ordered off the menu on the restaurant’s website, menu clearly states that sandwiches came with side. When asked why I was charged, was told “okay, answer me this, has the price of anything else gone up yet?” Since there are no prices on the website, I explained that wasn’t the issue. She eventually called the owner whose only response was that I was on the wrong website, when the worker said I wasn’t, absolutely nothing happened. On top of that, the chili, which I ended up paying for, was bland trash.

I worked here in the 2000s when I was a high school student. Visited for the first time in many years, and the quality of the food here is as great as it was 20 years ago. Loved the Rachel & Rebecca. The pickles are excellent. Matzo ball soup. Craft sodas. This is a special, generational business, do check it out.

I walked in, saw they offered the Ruben sandwich, so being that it is my favorite sandwich when done right I had to try it. I’ve been out to lunch with the guys at work a lot recently trying to find a good Ruben everywhere we go. All disappointing experiences! Not this place! I promise you will not find a better Ruben in the area! So perfect all the way down to the thin crispy layer of the bread. I’d give the 1,000 stars if I could 5 is not enough! Can’t wait to go back!
